You can tell someone's eye test by whether they hate on yay after this match. If they blindly hate yay or blame him they don't know how to watch VALORANT or tell who is good. Yay did his job here and played well. Whoever took him off primary duelist for Kick Off failed him and the team massively. He's not the best player in the world and probably never will be again but he played fine here.

I think personally after watching the game that while bleed looked pretty decent, yay was dragging them down. I think firstly they need a good coach, an international talent. Chet has been looking into offers recently from other teams on twitter, he would definitely be down to join as an assistant (or even a head) coach. Maybe sScary should be changed as well, I think an American IGL would be a good fit, like FNS (who has been taking about coming back to VCT). He could also really get a good support player to setup him up, and now that victor and crashies both have been cut from NRG maybe Bleed can pick them up. I think Marved would also be a great firepower addition to the team. I think these changes are necessary for this team to reach its full potential

I mean people who watch this podcast, sure. But on twitter and reddit fans have been tearing down the players. And GE isn't even playing very badly, they look good on Icebox and decent on other maps (Ascent looks fine, a bit of inexperience, and against TLN their Breeze looked very good). Yeah, GE management is really poor and they can't decide if they want to save money or save face, so they chose a shitty middle ground, but the team has been doing pretty decent. Very similar situation to Bleed if you see, in terms of high expectations and horrible outcomes. GE is playing better with each match and learning their strengths and weaknesses (Started banning Bind and Sunset after realising their comps aren't good/they are not good in those maps, picking Ascent and Breeze). If anyone disagrees they either aren't watching the matches or don't understand Valorant. It sucks that GE fan are flaming them constantly, the region is brutal the fans don't need to be.
