THIS!!! All through elementary and middle school I did well in school and got that exact "Bright student, needs to apply themself" in every parent teacher conference and report cards. It always lead to a meltdown for me cause in my mind, I AM applying myself as best as I can. I never felt like I was good enough for school. I'm so glad I found this channel and remembered being diagnosed at a young age. This is making me feel so much better, I'm not crazy or overdramatic. Thank you so much for doing these!

I have panic attacks since my late teens. With my therapist we established that they are related to sensory input. Since I wear ear protection and sunglasses whenever I need it my panic attacks, heart palpitations and some sort of exhaustion passed. I feel much more relaxed. I also avoid busy and overcrowded places whenever I can

I've been diagnosed with SPD when I was in year 3/4 (around the age of 8) when I migrated to another country, I needed new documents for re diagnosing myself in order to get the college help I need...sadly the country I am residing in doesn't have SPD signed as an official condition in the health service except that autism, ADHD, OCD etc, etc. This makes me feel really bad as a person who clearly is suffering with this, just with different documents from another country. It made me feel that I can't get the help I need. I finally understand, that spd is a massive issue for those who have it. It's very difficult and painful emotionally/mentally for us to get things done or try and not to get confused with what someone is saying and interpretation of things which is really not our fault ..

Have you looked into if you have other signs of ADHD or something along those lines. If so, maybe you can go down that route as SPD can be cause by ADHD, autism,
