Between the single cable entry point (as opposed to 600’s /650’s ) …I’m good with it not being g in my 🎧collection . I’m waiting for something between the 800’s and they’re $60k Orpheus… I’ll give it a listen at the upcoming Toronto Audiofest Have a great weekend 🍻
I have the Drop HD 6XX and prefer the sound on a balanced day/amp with good power. Would be cool if Sennheiser made these with a balanced cable option. I like the single sided cable option and closed back for travel use, I’ll have to try these out to hear how they sound from a phone.

Something tells me you haven’t actually tried out these headphones. Yes they are partly made of plastic, very good plastic, and metal. These headphones not only are very well engineered and built, but they sound great. And their price makes them a full recommendation on my part. Their sound is simply great, in the full tradition of the Sennheiser audiophile series.
