ngl, i wish that in the december palace, you could mail it to Akechi, basically inviting him to have your last duel you promised him, putting you on a 1 day deadline to beat the cleaner and fight Akechi before he invades Leblanc to arrest you, if you do, you'll get different dialogue and the option to fight him solo without going through the hassle of removing everyone from your party and re-adding them after.

@@eclecticspaghetti you have to be intentional to even attempt to miss any deadlines (maybe except for maruki since that require at least 3 days to be able to "send" calling card, instead of 1 for most palace)

The end of persona 5 hits hard for me just because of how many times I never got to say goodbye to friends before moving.

Did you already fight Akechi in Shido's Palace by the time you sent him the calling card(I notice there's no "Days Until Ballot Count" countdown)? If so, what happens if you try to send him a card between the interrogation and your fight with him?

I think its still impossible to send the calling card, since Akechi knows that you are the leader, and you're supposed to be dead by the time shido's palace started. if we could sent him the card, he would know that we are still alive, and he either report us to the police or murder joker's real shadow.

you have to NOT max out their confidant to send a calling card. the postcard give you small amount of confidant progress, similar to praying at shrine or using Chihaya's fortune telling. there's no reason to do that once you max out their confidants, so the prompt fades black.
