Could have msde for a neat idea if you had to manage your anonymity as the Phantom Thieves. For example, that you must have an occupation so your purchase seem like they have a real source, even if the numbers don't add up or getting some alibis through your hobbies on the day of the heists. Probably too complicated and limiting but a fun thought.

I assume the part time job thing is different over in Japan, as this system is used throughout the Persona games. Then again, you can join all the school clubs at once and partake in everything back in P4. And it's not like working more than one job is uncommon. Hell, I've worked two different part time jobs at once at multiple stages of my life.

The jobs do provide Social Stat boosts, so it's not like they're totally useless. Just not optimal. But playing from a purely min/max approach gets kind of boring

I can’t believe I missed this. I was already rich in 💴 so I thought I didn’t need to work anymore. I basically just quit my job. I mean I basically had around 2-5M Yen (basically 20-50k) and as a typical teenager that amount of money is like bank.

Man I really need to play Persona 5 again, I'm still missing the platinum for the PS5 version, but there is so little time for it. There is Trails to Azure, RE4R, GoW: Ragnarosk just to name a few. This whole adulting thing really didn't turn out the way I thought it would.
