I just want to point out when Akechi talks about alcohol placebo at 9:50 that’s exactly what the investigation team went through during the King’s Game, when Naoto mentions the drinks weren’t even spiked with alcohol. That, or Naoto has the alcohol tolerance of a demon.

There was no alcohol indeed. Rise even confirmed it. And aside from Rise and Yukiko, who both were just over-excited, no other member of the Investigation Team got drunk. Naoto even got mad at the end asking "Are you a bunch of imbecile" XD that always chuckles me.

Don't see a lot of people talk about that Shido w/Yusuke conversation, but it' one of the best bits of dialogue in the game, so much character and insight; Akechi and Yusuke would have a lot to talk about, I think

I rlly hate how yusuke and akechi hardly talk in the actual story. They would have had such Intresting conversations, their both rlly similar and yusuke is one of very few PT that don't think akechi is entirely evil. At some point he even says he fears he may have turned out like akechi of the others didn't try and help him and suport him. God I'm so disappointed, they could have been amazing friends 😭

Why there were 2 Pancakechi was because on the higher floor in the Thieves Den, there are tiles that have a character on them. Step on it, and you can look like that character. Step on it again, and you will change attire: winter/summer clothes, Metaverse uniform, mouse form, etc

Thieves Den Akechi is just the devil on Joker's shoulder telling him how stupid all his Confidants are.

The funniest interaction was maruki getting scammed. Maruki, a person who had the power of a god, got scammed but a old scammer. 70% of all the interaction feel like akechi is thinking to himself in his head the "Does he know?" meme

It’s weird how Akechi uses his “good boy facade” sprites for all of these, instead of his “bad boy real me” sprites from the third semester. He has no reason to put up a nice guy act in most of these interactions, and his dialogue shows he’s not holding back his real personality as much, just like in the third semester. So why did they not use those sprites?

I mean, he's not wrong. Once the Shadow was at their mercy, all they'd need to do is bop bop and boom, Mental Shutdown. Doesn't mean they would do it in the end, of course. Ann wanted him to suffer and Yusuke didn't intend to leave the other students hanging (and even after dealing with Madarame, had his own personal hang-ups and worries about if he truly didn't care for Yusuke beyond his talent).

Only Joker is the trickster. The term you're looking for is Wild Card.

@@Wolf0391 I thought it was confirmed that Akechi also possessed the wild card. I can't think of any other reason he could use more than 1 persona

@@Liezuli if you remember what Yaldabaot said "two wild cards to compete for the fate of humanity" that means both Joker and Akechi have the same power, but unlike Joker, Akechi only decided to close his heart to any other persona, cause he saw the power to make psychotic was more useful and powerful than having another type of persona. Again it's just my theory

I think all that needs to be said here is that the most ok Akechi probably felt in his entire life was when he was about to be erased from existence after Maruki was defeated. Kid went through some serious fuckery.
