Q:What camera do you use?
A: I use the Go Pro Hero 7 Black Edition primarily. Often times you will see auxillary cameras in use. Those cameras include The Go Pro Hero 6, Hero, and DJI Mavic Pro Platinum
Q: How big Is your rotator?
A: It is a 50 ton Miller Industries Vulcan 950
Q: Does the carriage slide back like Ron Pratt's?
A: No, the carriage doesn't slide back due to strict weight laws in California. The sliding carriage will make the truck to heavy in CA
Q: Why do you only have 3 winches on the rotator?
A: Comes down to weight again as stated above
Q: How many trucks Does Plaza Towing have?
A: Currently more than 30
Q: Why must the driveshaft be removed to tow a vehicle?
A: When vehicles are not running the transmission is not receiving circulating lubricant. If the driveshaft is left installed, the transmission, which is not receiving lubricant, is still spinning. This allows it to get very hot which eventually will cause major damage to the transmission. Therefore, removing the driveshaft completely eliminates the transmission from spinning. Simply leaving it in neutral is not sufficient since the transmission still spins in neutral.

Brent uses the hooks facing down as when the winch puts pulling pressure on the hooks it goes through the largest surface area of the hook instead of the weaker smaller surface area of the tip of the hook it also stops the straps braking away from the hooks as it slides up when pulled on

What's your method for doing tire-shine? Every time I've had a vehicle washed by a carwash and they've done the tire-shine it ends up splattered over the side of the vehicle. I don't exactly like washing cars but reducing sidewall dry rot would be nice if I could keep the tire shine from being flung everywhere.

Real gorgeous truck 👍🏻 at the towing company I work at, we got a new 50 ton peterbilt rotator too. 550hp Cummins X15 good engine. Awesome truck. I drive the older 06 Pete 379 rotator there. It’s got a 50 ton 2015 Miller rotator on it. Awesome truck as well. That truck got a 600hp acert twin turbo caterpillar motor in it. Thing rolls coal. I love that truck. Cummins and caterpillar engines 👍🏻👍🏻. We got a 2000 t800 with a N14 Cummins in it. Awesome truck. Those motors run good. The cats take a little to start in the cold, but they got power and torque. Strong engines. I like the older motors better, but I’m really impressed by the new Cummins x15 motors in the newer trucks. It’s a good engine. Newer trucks also come with the PACCAR. I don’t like the paccar. The new X15 Cummins engines are good.
