That steel company is the biggest pita in the world. They sit there and watch how you secure the load and they will not let you off property if not done correctly!! Will not let you off property if not tarped as well. I hated picking up there when I drove truck.

In my opinion the doggies are part of the family so I enjoy seeing them I think it is screwed up when places think they can tell you what you can and can't have in your truck. They can't control what you have in your truck. I agree that having down time you guys are losing money. I would rather have down time then waste time on a low ball load that isn't worth the time or hassle. Stay safe out there

got one at work,163k and is used once a week and every month something goes wrong....its a 17. with a paccar piece of s#%t 13 motor. And its governed at 65mph.

Yeah, those assisted living homes are no joke! They can cost anywhere from $4 to $10 thousand a month to live in! My grandmother was in one that cost up on the higher end for almost 8 years, thank God that she had the funds to live there! Miss seeing and talking to her every day! She also loved living in the one that she was at, she would always say "that it was like being on vacation every day!"

How about servicing the transmission, new fluid and filters and examining the old fluid to see if there is any metallic debris and what metals are present, burnt smell etc. Similar to what you would do in the automotive world.

Couple of observations.. you might have "fixed" it by cleaning up your grounds. Low or noisy voltage on those comm links can mess them up. A bad or flaky ground can do weird things. If that broker was bidding the job, which board was he bidding on? Maybe you could go there and just bypass the brokers?

On your shifter stalk problems, there is a couple up in Wisconsin that have a KZread channel called TruckingTogether and they have two Peterbilts with ISX s in them with autos and were discussing a place out in Texas(Near Dallas, I think) that rebuilds or reconditions those stalks at a reasonable price and they are very knowledgable on the problem. You might want to get in touch with them and get their input. His name is Martin and hers is Alice. Hope this helps, Bill t

You should get a hold of Martin from trucking together and ask him what his issue was with his when he changed his shifter switch. It is in one of their videos from a year ago when they were in California. I’m sure Martin would help you, he is a great dude. Alice is awesome too. Good luck. Here in Australia we had issues with our 908 kenworth like that and we changed the transmission harness and that fixed the issue.

Check the wiring harness that runs over the top of your transmission I had the same problem and it was a bare wire on the transmission harness that runs over the top of the transmission

You need to look up the code setting criteria and see if you can get freeze frames of when the code actually sets. If the lights not on you could still have a pending code.

Hello Lita and Robert. These folks you call for loads found a way to be a broker. Why can't Lita be your broker? Those extendable paint poles, at least for mine, is 74.5 inches long. Its length is 6' - 12'. I think you forgot to put the sticker on the trailer tag, they will not fall off. The next time you put a sticker on, press it like you would a postage stamp and then try pulling it off. I bet you can't. Have good days!

You can’t read your faults with the key . A lot of companies have disabled that feature because they don’t want the drivers playing mechanic. You should have the computer reset to factory.
