    Nope no rain here at the house up in N/E Buckeye , BUT down seven miles from my house a week ago Friday i was just getting my tools gather up and ready to leave the farm i have been working on a 1206 Farmall at and a lighting strike hit real close as ya heard and saw the flash at the same time it ripped a hole in the clouds and i have not seen rain like that since i left Nam . BUT two miles up Rt 9 dry as a popcorn fart to the house and NOTHING since .

    up here in northeast Wisconsin it wont stop raining,most corn will never see knee high by the 4th of July,lots of flooded and washed out fields last wkend,more rain coming Tuesday.

    Good luck with new ownership. They always tell you that they are really excited. New ownership is going to open up more and better options for the costumers. So on and so on. In reality they will have less parts inventory and less people that give a shit if you go out of business or not. They will also change some company policies that will piss off their best mechanics and they will all quit. Just my experience. 😁

    Years ago my grandfather rolled standing corn all the neighbors thought he had lost his mind,the ground was cloddy and was really dry season. But he had corn and they did not

    ​@@russellfulton6861 solid ground will have better capillary action for moisture movement, and a fine dust mulch won't dry as deep as loose clods; however, he still must have gotten a timely shower.

    You can't just go to the river and pump water out and self water. You have to have permits and licenses that take a lot of time and money to get.

    Since we don’t bail straw we cut as high as possible. Sometimes if the wheat is down though we have to cut low to get it all.

    Test weight Is a big issue for wheat where I’m at. Less of it being grown even though it is double cropped
