As someone who used to work in the coffee industry, I think this is an awesome opportunity! These roasts sound really well thought out and like the taste could be of the same caliber of some higher end, overpriced coffees. The fact that they're sustainably harvested and roasted beans is great. Hoping they're fair trade as well to benefit the coffee growing communities. For coffee lovers who love to try new roasts, they'll love a gift set or bags with great coffee inside that's have fun and interestingly designed packaging.

I use Printify and like their products. The problem I found with trying to sell their coffee with my designs and logos is....I can't compete with the selling price on Etsy and eBay. There are so many other offers for coffee on those platforms that sell for FAR LESS than I can offer, so - the idea of putting my designs and logos onto a 1-lb bag of coffee seems like an amazing way to make a few bucks, but when the product makes it to market, no one wants to pay the price that is needed for me to at least break even, let alone make any type of profit.

The reason people will pay more is how you will marketing your product, they are all the same selling the same coffee, and there is people who litterally dont want to pay something when its too cheap, you could provide a “luxury coffee” with nice luxury designs and good luxury marketing and they will be people buying your stuff, for sure. Give a try :)

I work for a coffee roasters, That goes for anything you want to sell, if you own a business, you have to have various insurances and certifications. It is all about the time and effort you put in, you have to enjoy it, if you are not going to find it fun and enjoyable you will be miserable.

I work for a Coffee Roasters, for anyone wanting to do this, dont worry about people supplying cheap coffees and believing you cant compete, that is nonsense, there are people who want to pay more because they believe they are getting better coffee, work out your target audience, there are those who want coffee from a cheap cafe and those who want a starbucks! Trust me there are more people looking for expensive price tags than cheap price tags, it is all about your designs and marketing, so spend proper time working that out

Hello how can I obtain subscribers to do email marketing to promote offers if I'm using a printify pop up shop to sell printify coffee an I dont want to use shopify. Are there any plans for the printify pop up shop to allow these features or use a 3rd partied site like shopify. Thanks in advance

Even if you paid for Printify Premium, $13.79 per bag is way too high for coffee that's not roasted to order. It's specialty grade, but doesn't include cupping scores. It's ethically sourced, but doesn't include any certifications like Fair Trade, etc. And you can't put certification logos on the bag or you can get fined $19,000. There's also no variety whatsoever. Your competition will destroy you in price and variety. Anyone who has this coffee on their website is selling nothing. Period. It's a complete waste of time.

Hi there! We work with providers that specialise in small batch roasting, where coffee is roasted, packaged and shipped in as little time as possible to ensure maximum freshness. We also work with providers who ensure ethical wages and sustainable practices. Take a look at our catalog to see which varieties we are currently, and don't worry, we've got way more coming soon!

So $17.59 for a 12oz bag + $7.59 shipping then factor in Etsy fees (if you use it) and then actually trying to make a profit from the product. That had better be some amazing tasting coffee.

  • @Mark-ql5ni

So there is literally no unique selling position, everyone just designs the bags differently but it's the same coffee. Good luck with that business model. I could see if you're an AirBNB or something like that but I would never consider doing this, there is no way to make it unique beyond the design on the bag which does not give you a unique product AT ALL, there is NO differentiation from your competitors. Do you really think people are going to compete in an already oversaturated market with no way to differentiate? Boggling my mind lately printify, I don't know what's going on over there anymore.

I agree but you have to position yourself and yes you can do excellent but you have to have your USPs and marketing in place. What's the brands avatar? What's the consumer persona/avatar? If you miss all of that then yes your 100% correct.

The best idea is to study the details and learn to do everything yourself... then you can source and control your processes & costs in-house. You can also sell locally, as well, and build the brand. This program is a good learning tool... but they'll eat your profits before you can grow.
