I feel Option buying is a very healthy practice for hedging purposes and should be used in a very disciplined manner if you're planning to trade a big chunk of equity. That way I don't lose money in equity whenever my trade goes wrong as there's an Option on the opposite side to get out of the trade with minimum to no loss.

But Option sell karne ke liye bohot jyada paise pay karna padte hai. Ex- Sbi -cmp- 180 200 ce is at 5 rs and lot size is 3000. Then to buy 200ce we will have to pay 5*3000= 15000. but to sell 200ce we will have to pay amount which is more than 1,20,000. So what should we do. How can we handle this. If anyone else also feels the same please do like it and do comment.

Hi I am impressed by your candid explanation of option selling , I am a retired man planning to trade in equity derivatives especially in option selling (call and put) attending tutorials on this subject available on you tube regularly, you are the one among few who i follow . The basics are clear but facing problem in choosing the strike price on the option page there i am getting confused as to which price is to be chosen on the basis of what criteria . I am seeking your help in this regard if it is possible for you, I will remain grateful to you .

Option sellers are like casino. Option buyers are like players. Option buyers may earn some quick profits, but overall in the long term, Option sellers make money (just like a casino).

Try hedging options by buying deep otm options that too double the lot of sell. Margin reduces hugely you can also try with aporox 20k

Dear Anant, Firstly thanks for all the videos which are simply very educative. Would you be kind to answer the below query. We know that when an option is bought & then not squared off by expiry then the entire premium is lost. So when an option(say call option) is sold & if it is not squared off by expiry then will the entire premium along with the margin money be automatically credited in his/her account, provided the strike price was not hit (was less than strike price) at 1:30 pm on expiry date.

To make money trading options, it’s advisable to trade with an expert guidance

Options agar put kiya h to primium v to kam hota h jis why se automatic jis price se put kiya h usse v kam ho jata h Price 180 put 170 primium 10 But market ke expiry ke time pe primium 10 se niche ake 8 ho jayega jisse 170 price pe profit nhe hoga profit ke liye 160 price ka wait krna hoga. Time hamare favour me is situation me v nhe h.
