You can literally see the small resistor he put over the heat sink pop first, then behind when he lifts it up is a capacitor that loads first then explodes. These are both techniques he has personally shown on his channel for faking explosions lol. He showed it on purpose I'm sure. And the thing that sort of arcs and falls is probably just a clip of some sort. *Captain flies away*

I'm not even mad Mehdi didn't look at my meme, mainly because it was just a tiny preview of a bigger project. Basing on the video on designing a taser, I did some video editing in Blender to bring his eyes and mouth to the tip of his nose inspired by the thumbnail of the original video, was like 2 hours worth of masking stuff for a few seconds lol, and I also put in the post a picture of the same thing but I did some more progress, which was to just put some Monster Energy cans behind him with VFX magic.
