The song was inspired by Selena’s sister Suzette when she married a man other than the songwriter.

“No me queda mas” is by far the most painful love song imaginable. And because Selena had such a powerful voice and sang with so much feeling, it is more emotional. It always brings me to tears. When she passed, this song was constantly played and was even harder to listen to. Selena, I miss you.

If Selena’s voice doesn’t give you chills and make you tear up... I don’t know how. It does me every time during every song. Such a talent, such a legend, such an icon. She is forever missed.

I can't help shedding a tear remembering when Selena came to Puerto Rico for an interview, and she said that she would come in concert, but sadly she was murdered. Such a humble, vibrant and emotional singer. Dearly missed!

The weekend after Selena died my parents watched anything and everything about her on tv. One year after my mom died, my husband and I were at the mall when this song came on and my dad broke down crying.

This video was taken in and around San Antonio,Texas. It starts at the River Walk. The scene with the stair case is at Sunset Station. Her fashion show was held at that venue. It is used for concerts.

I did Security work / protection for Selena at a charity softball game @ 1992. I also got to see her perform live a few times as well and met her backstage once. She took the time to sign autographs for everyone there at the softball game and was so sweet and genuine, it was no act. I remember management telling me to get her to hurry up and go but she stayed and signed for her fans. I regret never getting a picture or autograph with her but at the time to me she was just one of us. I will never forget her huge smile and laughter as she interacted with her fans. Yes it was at the Kennedy softball complex.

Most if not all of this video was filmed in San Antonio. She is waiting at a restaurant on the Riverwalk (downtown). A scene from the Selena movie was also filmed on the Riverwalk (where she sits on a arched stone bridge with Chris as Bidi Bidi Bom Bom begins). That is Brackenridge Park where she is riding a horse (horses no longer available), and where she dances barefoot. That was Kiddie Park, where she is on the children’s ride, also close to Brackenridge (moved to the SA Zoo now). The sky ride is no longer available, it was right outside the zoo. That is the Japanese Tea Gardens where she spies her ex marrying another woman, also at Brackenridge. The venue where she is singing is Sunset Station. It is an old train station and then became an entertainment venue. American Idol held auditions there one year. I also considered having my wedding reception there a couple of years ago. So Jemal, if you ever make it to Texas to go to the Selena Museum, you should stop in San Antonio to visit these spots. Selena’s boutique was on Broadway, close to Kiddie Park.

There is this guy that I meet in Galveston a few years ago and he claimed to be the biggest Selena’s fan, he attended to every concert of hers, I didn’t make nothing of it until another friend of mine told me that he holds never before seen pictures that he took with Selena back stage in her concerts.
