Did you see where someone gave her statue a rain coat during one of the hurricanes? I don't remember which one.

For this year’s día de muertos, I made a cover of her song “como la flor” with my accordion to dedicate for Selena. Though I’m Japanese who was born after she died, she and her music are still inspiring!

after seeing her performance in this video you realize how she took you away. After the video finished I LITERALLY asked myself "where the hell did i go?" LOL

If you want to put her talent into perspective you HAVE to watch that entire concert from start to finish. She literally moves and sings from the moment she hits the stage until the moment she gets back into the carriage. Talent unmatched to this day, Selena is still in her own lane.

Selena was too good for this world. She was and still is PERFECTION. 😘🥰❤

Wonder what he thinks about the Selena Series. The Dad I think is probably not going to have a casting call for Chris's character. Idk how he's going to be able pull this off since SELENA and he was married and he played lead guitar in the band. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

That's correct, her husband, Chris, was the guitarist of the band. Her brother, A.B. played base and her sister, Suzette, was the drummer. Except, on this particular performance that you're reacting to, Suzette couldn't perform because she had injured her leg, if I'm not mistaken.

@@summermcpherson8209 Yes, Suzette was injured. I was watching an interview with her not too long ago and she mentioned that it was actually her ankle that she injured just days before that concert. So, they had to find someone to replace her.

As a proud Houstonian, I want to share this for those who don’t know. This Concert was during The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, which used to be held in the Astrodome before this great monument closed its doors for good. Now, it is held at Reliant Stadium. The Rodeo and Livestock Show is a 6 week event. Starts in Feb. and ends in Mar. Each night it features an Artist. It is huge to be booked for this event. For Selena, it meant she finally made it! Record sell out at 67,500. George Strait got his start on this stage (Amarillo by morning video). This was Feb. 25th...as a season ticket holder, I saw all the concerts and she was spectacular! She died on March 31st. Thanks.

Her joy was and still is so contagious. She always brings a smile to my face. Thank you Selena for blessing our lives. R.I.P. to Selena and Don. They had great chemistry for sure. There's a really awesome performance of La Carcacha, lots of fun dancing, she is in black pants and black leather jacket, high ponytail, yall help me out please. But that performance always gets me hyped. I'm sure it will bring you joy too. Yay to selena reactions! Thank you ♡

They were great and have you ever seen her Coca Cola commercial which her brother wrote the jingle for, well he did produce all of her music. A.B. Quintanilla who started a new band called Kumbia Kings check them out too.

Whole band was amazing. Husband on guitar. Brother on bass. Sister usually on drums except had broke her ankle on this performance.

She was born is lake Jackson about an hour from were I live, it’s a very small town. Every day I drive by the astrodome because I work next to it and it takes me back to that last concert.
