Seldinger technique
This technique is named after Dr. Sven Ivar Seldinger, a Swedish radiologist who introduced the technique in 1953. The Seldinger technique is a procedure to provide a safe access to vessels and other hollow organs. It is commonly used to transition from 0.018-inch to 0.035-inch system.
