Seinfeld | George Costanza
Комедия
These are just a few of my personal favorite George Costanza moments. To give a brief background, "George Louis Costanza is a character in the American television sitcom Seinfeld (1989--1998), played by Jason Alexander. He has variously been described as a "short, stocky, slow-witted, bald man" (by Elaine Benes and Costanza himself), "Lord of the Idiots" (by Costanza himself), and as the greatest sitcom character of all time. George and Jerry were actually high school friends and remained friends after. He is friends with Jerry Seinfeld, Cosmo Kramer, and Elaine Benes. George appears in every episode except for "The Pen" (third season). The character was originally based on Seinfeld co-creator Larry David, but surnamed after Jerry Seinfeld's real-life New York friend, Mike Costanza."

When george pulls that golf ball out of his pocket... that's one of the greatest moments in TV history... just the way it ties the whole episode together was unreal.

My name is George. I'm unemployed and I live with my parents. The way he brings that, like he literally has nothing left to lose. And it's true, people love confidence. Especially from people who don't look like they're supposed to be something - like George. Such an epic show about nothing and yet everything...

There are so many "classic" scenes in the show, how could you rank them? Every time I think I have found the "best" Seinfeld scene, I come across another that I had forgotten about.

George and Kramer are the best main characters. Side characters there are so many great ones but I'd say Newman, Puddy, George's father, Steinbrenner and Lloyd Braun are tops. As for Jerry he is the most stable, even-keeled character that makes all the witty observations about the crazy world around him
This show was a perfect storm of genius.
I've driven women to lesbianism before but never to a mental institution
Jason Alexander was brilliant. George is the reason why Seinfeld worked. Without him there is no show

if George and Jerry graduated from JFK Secondary in 1971 (according to the show), that would mean that during the first season of the show (aired in 1989), Jerry and George were 36 years old (close to their real ages). By the end of the show, the 9th season (aired 1998) Jerry and George were 45 years old!! - This makes me feel relieved to know that 35 - 45 is still pretty young and I can still enjoy the not-married life.

There's at least another 3 videos of this stuff, equal or even superior quality. When I was younger. I thought Kramer was the feature, and he's great. But his craziness and stunts are supported by George's solid self-loathing & such. George is the center of the show. Seinfeld (the show) has been lauded with much praise, but I somehow feel Jason Alexander is still underrated(?)
