@@hollystiener16 Conversely, that's what makes it difficult to stop laughing, it's nerves or something. I had an awful experience at a funeral once where a guy next to me kept doing little grunty blowing noises which set me off. I got the giggles and couldn't fucking stop laughing, a woman kept glaring at me which just made it worse.

Ahh don't you just love Julia. I was an editor on a popular sketch comedy show in Australia. Our cast would "lose it" in a similar way (particularly the girls, they would crack up just like "Elaine") but we were shooting on video. Seinfeld had 3 or 4 cameras burning up hundreds of feet of 35 mm film every minute. Very glad they kept rolling to catch the bloopers. Thank goodness we only had videotape to pay for.

JULIA TURNED DIVA AND REFUSED TO DO THE LITTLE KICKS DANCE AGAIN BECAUSE OF "THE HUMILIATION" and "PEOPLE SAY YOU CAN'T FUCK IF YOU CAN'T DANCE" yes, she said that. WATCH THE INSIDE LOOKS ON THE DVDS. THE PRODUCERS, DIRECTORS AND FELLOW ACTORS HATED WORKING WITH HER. SHE'D FORGET HER LINES OR START LAUGHING, RUINING THE SCENE AND WASTING EVERYONE'S TIME. KRAMER DESPISED WORKING WITH HER. THE PRODUCER SAID SHE CAME RUNNING INTO THEIR OFFICE DURING A MEETING IN TEARS, BLUBBERING ABOUT HOW SHE DOESN'T GET THE GOOD LINES, STORIES OR MORE CAMERA TIME. WELL, THERE'S A REASON FOR THAT; JASON, MICHAEL AND EVEN JERRY ARE BETTER ACTORS (THEN AND NOW). BUT DUMB BITCH GOT HER WAY. SO YOU SEE ELAINE STORIES DRAWN OUT AND FLUFFED WITH FILLER GARBAGE. SHE'S A TERRIBLE ACTOR AND NEVER DESERVED TO BE ON ANY TV SHOW. SHE WAS FAT AS FUCK IN SEASON 7 AND 8 AND BLATANTLY PREGNANT. THEY SUGGESTED THE STORYLINE SLOWLY TURN TO HER GETTING FATTER AND HER IMMEDIATE REACTION WAS TO BURST INTO TEARS. SHE EVEN REFUSED TO DO HER MOST FAMOUS KICK DANCING AGAIN DUE TO THE EMBARRASSMENT; SEE, NOT A TRUE ACTOR. JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS: A FUCKING UGLY HAS BEEN SOCCER MOM WITH NO COMEDIC SKILL WHATSOEVER. I've posted this comment elsewhere but it seems most appropriate here regarding Julia....It always amazes me when people criticize actors who crack up. They are performing stuff that is carefully written and designed to get big laughs and yet people get hyper-critical when they, themselves, can't help but laugh at what's going on. Playing off people like Michael Richards or Patrick Warburton would make most people lose it. I've seen lots of criticism of Julia, in particular, across several KZread collections like these and I don't get it. We, the audience, are on the floor but some get upset when they see the actors finding it just as funny as we do. I don't get that reaction. They're not being unprofessional, they're being human like the rest of us. Anyone who's come down with a case of the giggles knows how hard it can be to get it back under control. Lighten up, folks, and enjoy the show. My two cents.

Ron Devon? Totally agree! Funny how life is with people who love to laugh Period! I grew up with so much laughter around me. So naturally, I loved laughing all my life. People who criticize others for a human emotion such has those laughing? Don't have a sense of humor or understand what a great sense of humor is all about. The best times in my entire life have always been when I'd laugh so hard I really thought I fractured my ribs from laughing to the point I was in tears or couldn't catch my breath! I don't regret ever laughing at any time. Why should we? It's like you said it's all about "being human!" I love when they show these bloopers. I love to laugh out loud with them. It creates also wonderful memories for them and us! The best job in the world is waking up and enjoying what you do, to begin with, and to have the privilege to work with such excellent people with a great sense of humor is the icing on the cake! I do believe laughter is the best medicine in life! It's a real emotion and sadly lot's of people are just way to serious-minded & they don't know what they're missing out on in life! A natural High In Life!

the seinfeld set seemed like a lot of fun, but usually laughing when you're supposed to be acting is really unprofessional. it's literally wasting everyone's time and money on the set, people who've been standing around for hours and hours.

Highly judge mental of you. Seinfeld was geared toward a very specific demographic and I can't fault anyone for not liking Seinfeld if they simply couldn't relate to it. The world is a big place, there are plenty of Non-white people who have had different life experiences and Seinfeld doesn't cater to their sense of humor, simple as that.

Steve Owens sorry that what I said flew completely over your head. I stand by what I said. It's not that they have a chip on their shoulder, they simply don't relate to it. For example, I am very familiar with impoverished lifestyles. I don't use the terminology, but many people would describe where I was raised as the "ghetto", the "hood", AND although I enjoy Seinfeld, I encounter people daily who could care less about Seinfeld because it doesn't mirror their life experiences, they're just trying to survive.

Thank goodness i am able to laugh at life now and astill maintain composer Julia laughing out of character was probably a little annoying for some who wanted to finish the scene since it prolonged being there but it helped set the mood for everyone to remember its a comedy show

As many others here, I have watched every episode 100 times...but these bloopers make me laugh so hard every time I see them. The scenes where Jerry and Elaine can't get it together is absolutely the best part...she is gorgeous and her eyes and laughter is like no other. What a hoot of a sitcom.

Hurley as Peterman is very professional at holding character while poor Juila is cracking up. He was brilliant and you can see see how well he would be as a soaps character. Excellent delivery and so believable. Julia said she got giggly past a certain time and that was it, she lost it. Thankfully Seinfeld is both serious about the show but also very easy going and actually a guy that doesent back down when confronted as a few stories you hear about him. you have the insane creativity and necrotic of Larry david and Twisted writings of the other writer Larry Charles and you end up with actually a very wide canvas of stories and direction, maybe unique for sitcoms which tend to be bit more linear.

Years ago, right after Seinfeld ended, I saw Neuman. My mom and I were at an Italian restaurant, and he had the table next to us, and he was literally doing that thing where he’d stare at us from behind the menu , and slowly lower his head so we couldn’t see him. It was hilarious. Totally in character. So I whispered just loud enough, of coarse…” Neuman!”
