Sonic 3 Part 1 is my favorite Classic Sonic game because it brings back so many memories of me playing it with my mother and my stepfather.

Haha 😂 you aren't wrong. The main extra one for these HDMI upconverters is the "3rd rail" power source USB cable that connects to one of the spare USB ports in back of the TV for power. It isn't necessary for the converter to work but without the extra power it doesn't have the juice to keep the lag down

I had a new CRT I bought for maybe 95 bucks back in 2007, it was perfect conditions but took up too much space and got thrown out 😭 without being told, now I can't play duck hunt

Amazon, just search "LevelHike" Here is the link for the Genesis one. The adaptors are only about 30 bucks, I got one just to try and was surprised at how good it was. Even if the games themselves are nothing new, in some cases collections can become rare! For example, many copies of Super Mario All Stars exist (I have one), but the late SNES life cycle bundle version of Mario All Stars that includes Super Mario World (memory is fuzzy but was right before Nintendo stopped selling the Super Nintendo probably '97 or '98) is much rarer. I remember playing it at aftercare when I was a kid! Another example I can think of and own is the Zelda promo bundle collection for GameCube that includes Zelda Master Quest from Nintendo 64DD (the Japan only disk drive expansion for Nintendo 64).

The LevelHike converter you mean? Make sure you have the USB power support plugged in as well as the upconverter needs that power to run correctly. Also, make sure all connectors are pushed in securely, in the video you can see how I had to push it in again. Last these games are OLD, you might need to give the the good-ol' 1980s "moist huff" of breath on the conductors on the cartridge to work again.
