Very nice seeing your aunt and uncle in their new home. It will be as lovely, warm and welcoming as they are. What a blessing they are.

The lemon tree may not be producing lemons for lack of water & fertilizer. When lemon trees are placed so close to residences in a paved patio setting the roots become stressed so the tree needs extra care, trimming, water & fertilizing to adapt.

I'm curios: why Poirot? I can't remember any Art Nouveau buildings mentioned in the novels or films, and the only story with a plot placed in the South of France is The Mystery of the Blue Train.

⁠​⁠​⁠@@lwaliz If you watch the TV series you’ll see some of the building are in the style. In his home sets it has some Art Nouveau period pieces. Obviously it’s show-business so you have some fakery. Can’t wait to see the Château, though it seems a bit OTT in some parts . Love the house of Amaury’s parents glad they have found a home in France.

Your aunt and uncles house looks amazing! The outdoor garden is stunning! I just adore them.

As much as I can appreciate the paintwork at the chateau, the Chapel's artwork is far more pleasing to my eye. Steven's and Tatinette's house will be fabulous when decorated. They seem such fun and loving people, it is always a pleasure seeing them.

The chapel restore gives me goosebumps. It’s more than I expected. It’s brilliant that the whole vlog thing has helped it evolve for more decades. La Lande is becoming as iconic as the classic French attractions now.

Even before watching the video I feel happy to see that your aunt is going to appear! What an elegant, sweet, warm and pleasant lady! She, her husband and her son are a delight. Well, like you dear Stephanie, even though I don't know you in person, it's so nice to see you every day!

My jaw actually dropped open viewing the chateau. With the music playing and the vivid colors and graceful lines…the swan windows!!! I was transported, and wondered WHO could have lived their everyday life there! Stephanie, you have shared so many interesting places and pieces of your continuing journey. I have so enjoyed the time watching.❤️

Ton Ton Steven and Tatinette certainly have found themselves their own Shangri-la.

LOVE Tatinette's wardrobe. She has such beautiful taste :)

...Those exquisite painting motifs and mosaics, as well as some of the architecture reminded me of old Mediterranean cultures like the ancient Minoans at Knossos, Crete ...that, and a bit of the ancient Egyptian flair tossed in. Truly STUNNING!!

Yes I felt the Egyptian influence as soon as they walked in, there’s also a Moroccan feel and it absolutely screams Art Noveau. It’s been restored beautifully it looks fabulous

The work on the chapel is amazing, the colours are amazing.

The new house is so befitting for the loveliest couple on planet earth!

When my cousins came to visit Canada from Provence, they told us we must kiss not twice but thrice, as they were the family from the south of France and warmer people! Lol - they did indeed seem good natured and a bit more casual and fun-loving than our family members from Normandy and Bretagne. If this holds true, your tante and oncle should fit right in! ...and Lancelot was fiercely defending their outside patio from Seagull intruders ...so cute. That seagull was looking for a handout and got a fierce little guard-dog instead! 😉

It never occurred to me that Nouveau Art has such and Egyptian quality. Coincidentally, over the past few days I've been looking at it in an app for interior design and now it pops up here. The movement did pretty well here in the US, particularly in office buildings, which, as skyscrapers, lend easily to elongated forms and grand scale graphics.

Now THAT is what I call a chateau even if it isn't a huge one! Stunning in all respects. And most of all no crumbling exterior that I could see, beautiful outdoor spaces and I have a feeling no crunching of dirt & sand when you walk on the floors indoors. I have a feeling it will be kept whistle clean and just magnificent. They are a lovely couple and a joy to watch. Wishing them all the best in their new home!!

Oh my! I was just visiting friends in Bordeaux and was mesmerized by their staircase. It looked just like your Aunt and Uncle’s. The kids would think nothing of trotting down 2 floors to ask mom a question and going back up 40+ steps. The angle of the curves were gorgeous! I live in a city that’s barely 130 years old. So appreciate all that caring people do to preserve history!

Due to its many nudist campsites Le Cap d’Agde was considered by the French in general to be a bit of a olé, olé tourist destination in the 80s. Bearing in mind how hot it gets in summer it's a brave person that risks their crown jewels in such weather 😂😂😂

Yes, the chateau is beautiful, but more beautiful is your aunt and uncle. They are just soooooooo darn gorgeous and you can see in them their love for each other and for you. I remember this chateau when it lay abandonned and pillaged for many years until they decided it was important enough to restore thankfully !! A side note ; Cap d'Agde is also known for it's nudist colony ! A collegue of mine was taken there by her husband and afterwards she left him as she got to 'compare' for the first time ! hihihihi
