Seed Oils = Fake Boogeyman

No one with an interest in health would eat or promote canola oil. It’s ultra processed, so people interested in their health tend to opt for closer-to-natural fats like olive oil, butter, or coconut oil. But does this mean “seed oils cause heart attacks” as some suggest? There is no data to support this, in fact, there is some decent evidence suggesting the other side of the argument.
So why all the scare tactics? Every diet tribe needs an enemy, so the low carb community spins crazy stories about “seed oils” to play that role. The irony is that the low carb community doesn’t actually have any enemies. If low carb works for you, you’ll get nothing but high fives all around.
The problem with fake boogeymen in nutrition is they distract you from the real boogeymen, and there are plenty of those to be scared of.

People in Asia use a lot of the oils people in the West worry about and live long, healthy lives. They don't stuff their faces with McDonald's though.

Seed oils are linked to so many problems- they oxidize cholesterol which causes heart disease, and they destroy your whole gut biome. It also causes insulin resistance which can stimulate more refined carb and sugar consumption. It’s not even food and it’s in everything at the grocery store. It’s the boogey man because people are becoming aware of sugar as being bad and addictive, and some people are becoming aware of refined carbs, but most people completely ignore seed oils as an issue. Most people aren’t consuming real foods like butter or coconut oil because they think it doesn’t matter much. This is why it’s becoming popular to criticize, because of how covert it is. Lastly one of the problems is the studies that say things like saturated fats cause heart disease are completely wrong. It doesn’t even make any sense, those fats don’t oxidize, it’s the healthiest thing you can consume. When LDL-C increases it’s usually to support plaque build up around the arteries, so cholesterol will increase on a chart because the transporters are being rushed to help repair damage. They push studies with the wrong science because it supports the fake food industry which runs things. There is so much more real evidence to suggest seed oils are bad. They are rancid once entering the body! It’s definitely the boogeyman, and your video is just another reason it’s the boogeyman

So are seed oils good or not? Some evidence saying it's good, no data to support the story that seed oils is inflammatory, so why then would Lucas not eat seed oils? Just to be on the safe side?

Ultra Processed foods are really worrisome, exactly why we don't know. People speculate about cancer risk - maybe. Heart risk - maybe. But one thing you see pretty convincing data on is lack of satiety. The more foods are processed the less they seem to stop hunger. Now "food" is a lot of things, that might be more true for processed carbs that fats, I don't know... but I'm betting on the fact that less processed = more natural triggers for satiety.

If you have an option to bake than fry, it may be the best alternative. Otherwise, maybe you can pop it in an airfryer or fry with a small amount of olive oil. -YOGABODY Team

studies clearly show that the intake of AGEs is bad for health. Eating them makes them end u in your circulation (blood, lymph) and due to their chemical properties they are creating oxidative stress. Since the dose makes the poison, just try to minimize and don't deep fry at all. Using those seed oils essentially makes the whole pot of oil poisonous.

Exact same thing can be said of meat, saturated fat, and cholesterol--fake boogymen.

"Meat" is a big category, dietary cholesterol = everyone agrees, blood cholesterol / LDL-C.... that's only fake to the chiropractors and their online crews, and saturated fat is a confusing / confused boogeyman. So I kinda agree.
