I was in Hawaii 78-80 too. USN. I bet that stuff is rebranded Mothers polish.

@@pegasusmotorcycletoursInteresting. I wonder if it's still available. I just looked and I couldn't find it. I've been using Lucas Slick Mist Detailer on my motorcycles for years. It does everything, paint, chrome, plexiglass, even leather. A quick way to keep aluminum from corroding quickly is to put some silicone spray on a microfiber towel and rub it in till it shines again. This creates a solid seal of the metal until something washes it away.
