What a fantastic video !!!! So this content is all out there already , albeit you need to pay for it mainly . But you are able to explain it so so we’ll that’s it’s invaluable . The best coaching video I’ve seen out there and I’m subscribed to all the main sites at one point or another . Any chance I could get you to take it down 😉😂😂 I had heard of you recently but my first time seeing anything by you . Think I may be your newest biggest fan . P.s the brummy accent comes out towards the end when emphasising points and it’s great 👍

I just wanted to say thank you. I had such a good session (+600bb) after applying your lessons. Seriously, felt like I got more useful/practical strategy than full courses. I could tell people were having hard time putting me on a hand while I hada clearer picture of what they had. Glad I subscribed.

Wow!! thats was certainly enlightening! I’ve done RYE and i feel i’ve added some advanced techniques into my repertoire thanks to this incredible 84 mins. I loved the suits sections & Double BD blockers especially. Is this pretty much your entire course you’ve been selling? or just a loss leader? I remember you and your brother about 2015 in a newspaper article quoting you’ve got a system and thinking what a load of Bollox. When you guys were winning or running deep in nearly every comp at DTD. I feel a little silly now all these years later. 😅 Thanks Richard, i hope to buy you a few 🍻 one day at DTD. 😊

Hi, first of all, I really appreciate the content. It is probably the best poker content I've watched on KZread. thousands thanks! PS: I have a question. If I did understand well about the Flop Cbetting part, even as the preflop aggressor, Since we are OOP, we do 0% Cbetting and always checks? is that gonna give our opponent a lot of free equity?

Awesome vid. Is it fair to say that a big part of this approach is "take the line that makes my hand easiest to play" ? This is what I'm thinking when I see you'd much rather bet/fold or raise/fold rather than call down with bluff catcher.

Ginge, you probably won't see this. I was watching this again and wondering when you say to check 100% of hands OOP, do you mean even as the pre flop raiser? Say you're UTG and the BTN flats for example. Just wondering because in the games I play there is a lot of flatting from the CO/BTN when I open UTG/MP.

Good summary
To my understanding, GTO is by most of the people mentioned in the context where 2 opponents try to play theory optimal and as a result end up in the Nash Eq. And isn’t this the strategy that all these apps (GTO wizard, DTO, Postflop+) are showing, as they assume you your opponent to play GTO? So that’s why people always refer to the Nash Eq as GTO. But what you’re trying to say in the beginning of the video is that GTO should be understood in a more dynamic way, as it is the optimal strategy to play against a certain opponent , with a certain strategy (and we know the strategy, as in your example he plays rock 100%). Do I understand that correctly?😅

In the preflop section, when you say 2.5X (iso limpers), 11x (3b from BB), etc... You mean BB's, right? Not "X" times the size of the previous bettor's bet. So we should read as 2.5BB and 11BB, not 2.5X and 11X, right? Thanks!

@Ginge Poker On the turn you use 150% (large bet) on bricks, and 75% (big) on non bricks. But @40:15 you said that on the river you the logic will be the same. But on the slide it’s: “brick we go big, if not go large.” It’s typo or you use reverse logic to river ?

You are clearly a very good player, and understand theory, but i have to point out that GTO does NOT equal highest EV strategy. If we are talking strictly definitions, GTO is the strategy which will never lose long term Vs all other possible strategies. So the highest EV strategy deviates from GTO as to exploit the opponent's leaks. GTO is a game solution/set of solutions which are not beatable by any other strategy, there is a clear difference. GTO is not exploitable by counter strategies but the highest EV strategy IS exploitable by counter strategies. The further you deviate from equilibrium the more exploitable your strategy becomes to counters. I can see where the confusion stems from, as the 'optimal play' is e.g. folding all bluffcatchers Vs an underbluffer, even though GTO would call those hands at a frequency determined by betsize.
@GingePoker

I've defined the gto solution as the strat that makes the most money in a finite game with infinite visibility. I've defined the nash equilibrium as the unexploitable strat the way you define gto.
