You said it in yourself: the thought process is "is he bluffing, yes or no" if the answer is 'I don't know' then does he have too many bluff combos left in his range and is he OVER bluffing, otherwise it's a zero EV call at best. 3x pot is gigantic, he's allowed to have like 9 bluffs for every 10 value combos right? So this would have to be just a big dick pure power play, and that... well, it happens less often than we fear. ...also. Maybe this is the best hand you check with, but HE doesn't know that, for all you know, you could be checking the nuts at some frequency. And he is exposing his stack to that.

Had this same spot online. Never a bluff, maybe some thin (for this size) value. Ridiculous when your intention was to check-jam because he does it for you so now what.

When he shoves x3 on the river we need to defend just 25% of our range to remain unexploitable and he should shove with a 1:1.4 bluff to value ratio. Then this is a very easy fold when we know that villiain is not capable of bluffing that insane ratio. Against a tougher and more balanced player I think KT falls into that 25% range we should call with. Well played 👍

What would your calling range look like on the river if KT isn't the best call? Would you rather have a blocker to the straight?

If he doesn't have any bluffs we don't call anything. I'm not sure about the blocker - depends how he constructs his bluffs and his value bets (how thin he goes)

@@GingePoker I didn't say read your lips. I said he heard you. He's sitting right next to you. His music doesn't have to be loud. He may not have done it on purpose. I doubt he went in with the intention to do it. He just heard you say your hand and acted accordingly to extract max value. 3.5x pot shove on river.

​@@Jari44 They've been.doing this series for years. Hearing the opponent defeats the concept of it. I'm pretty confident he didn't cheat. The primary purpose is for educational material, they probably choose $1knl because the numbers are simple. You realise a lot of these guys including Nandez and Ginge play higher than this and wouldn't be overly bothered by a few grand?

The decision to increase the playback speed over your and Nandez's thought process is -EV. This is the worse decision I've seen you make 😂
