    Hey Ginge, glad to see your uploading again!! I was just wondering how to interpret how many big blinds you have effectively with a 100bb stack in GG splash pots (assuming 10bb drop). I think I remember you mentioning a way to calculate this in an earlier video maybe?

  • @GingePoker

    @GingePoker

    Жыл бұрын

    I calc the pot and divide it by 3 to get the small blind. 10bb splash, there is 11.5bb in the pot 11.5/3 is roughly 4bbs, so sb is 4 and bb 8 So if I have 100, I have 100/8 bbs, 12.5bbs. But I can limp for 1 when the bb is 8 don't forget. So when it's 20 bb splash: 21.5bb in the pot, approx 7bb sb, 14 bb 100 start stack is now 7bbs only

    @@GingePoker Wow, thanks Ginge, I had no idea it was so so shallow!! I'm guessing we limp for 1, when we have absolute trash ish (with some traps say) that does not fit into a 12.5bb shoving range (in 100bb case)? e.g., 64s UTG?

    ifff u plan on calling raise with 66, better to bet big flop, cos then its dandy, but big raise on turn, ur equity now is SHOOOTTT i think, so id like smaller bet on turn, do the opposite is good here i think

    A9, heeee has broadways with one spaaade often, if u block he calls, if u check he bets u call, so beest option since u played it like u cant have a fluuusj, is to 250% overbet and he tank calls with AQ, AK, AJ with a spaaade mb

    KK haaand, those positions, ppl mostly call with their pockets n suited connectors and those suited bw, but u have some and board has some broadway, sooo, i think mandatory bet, i like to bet a size where they crycall their pockets and sometimes their AQ and all their AJ, theeen on diamond river u do the XC thingy i think

    i still dun get why ppl 4b AJ and KQo and shit from Btn, they play beautifully ip vs BBs new ruse gto 3b polarized ranges, and so many shitty jacks fold to 4b, now u keep in all the crappy shit, just use KJo and ATo, and call with AJo and AQo and KQo i think is rly good

    dont checvk back K9s cos 2 clubs, cos the srp range ur up against, is mostly scared about ur KJo raaaange, which s 16 combos, and ur 9 even blocks lots of j9o n shit, i think x2 pot pretend u hit 2 pair is good here, cos they have A8o, ATo A9o, ATo, Tjo u get to foooold

    @@GingePoker awesome, im studying training like crazy too these days. Love that shit, lots to learn. Read all the works of Brad Schoenfeld first, and now it's mostly Mike Israeleti or something, cant ever remember his last name. Plan is to gain 1kg muscle a month, then power, then more endurance, then test all things in a new athetlic hall built nearby. Going on my first poker trip in ages next week, first Prague, then Tallin, with some mates xD. Insane to win that much lol, but i bet, playing online and smaller stakes becomes more of a chore after that, so i don't blame you for testing other shit
