She's so shy! Oh my goodness, I just want to hug her. The way she reacted when Simon said she looked great... you can just tell she's not heard that enough in her life. Possibly she's even been told the opposite. Obviously I can't know that for sure, but let's just say "it takes one to know one" is a very valid phrase within the human experience. She's been hurt. If I were putting myself out there like she did, and was afraid I would fail, I would want my family there to pick me up. The fact that she was afraid to bring them along tells me she knew if they watched her get told no, they wouldn't respond with any comfort or reassurance. My God, she just had a total breakthrough. She is BEAUTIFUL and I feel like this response was the very first time she believed in herself. It took courage to do this alone. And stage fright on top of it? She is stronger than she realizes.

This lady that sang that song, has one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard...I'm a Reverand and her voice brought me to tears..who ever you are, your simply wonderful!!!!

Sultry and absolutely stunning. She embodies the words and melody. One of my top 5 auditions on any talent show, ever.

She dressed very simple and yet she sung so beautifully, awwrr. She deserved A golden buzzer

Who hurt this girl for her to doubt herself so greatly?!? She has a sweet and gentle way about her, and her voice was like stepping back in time to the great song-birds of jazz. This was amazing!

There are good singers and then there just a very few like her. Born with the full package ready to go. No one can claim they had taught her. Such natural ability is so beautiful to behold. What a privilege to hear her sing.

I just found this tonight, and as a jazz musician absolutely love this style. She is amazing. Not only is she beautiful, but the fact that she seems oblivious to how good she is makes her even more beautiful. I watched this about 20-30 times tonight in a puddle of tears. Out of all the performances I've watched, I can honestly say that she was unequivocally the best one. She deserved a golden buzzer. She is so shy, so unknowing of her own talent, so soft spoken and so humble. Absolutely gorgeous young lady with such an amazing voice. I would love to hear more of her. Her song choice was just impeccable with her tone. Just wow! Music should always make you feel something. When music truly makes me feel something I get goosebumps. She gave me them in spades within the first thirty seconds. I truly wish her all the success in the world for whatever she endeavors to do.

Who wouldn't fall in love with such a precious, humble (and of course, talented) girl? I never tire of watching this! The dream that she dared to dream really did come true...with no one there to share it with her.

I love seeing her transformation as soon as she starts singing. Mesmerizing was the right word.

Oh my God! What a voice! What a performance! It's incredible what talent she was hiding. She's got so much jazz and soul and emotion in her voice !!!

She suffers such nerves but when she sings she forgets everything and just falls into her art, and that's all there is. A true artist.

Her style with her voice is it, for real!! She is great for the big stage, but she has such intimacy in her style. I'd love to see her perform in person.

Loved her when she did it on stage the first time. I watched her today and found myself clapping after her performance(again) along with the judges. The thing that really amazed me was that none of the judges mentioned how the theatre was silent through her performance. Other than her singing.. the theatre was silent.

You could feel the audience in awe and dead silent... mesmerized no doubt... Notice at one moment how Simon looks away and tries to concentrate on her voice... he knows music through and through and knows what it should sound like...

I can tell you that she knows excactly that she is brilliant, and not one of her tears was really emotional. She manipulated the whole audition like a perfect narcist. Having no people to support her there, is because she is cold inside and has no friends. She is a perfect liar in my oppinion...why am I the only one seeing this?

For an amateur, she managed to capture the very essence of the song. She didn’t follow the melody slavishly, but rather drew every last ounce of sensuality out of it. That was an astonishing, truly surprising performance one could never have expected…not in a million years!

God, thought I was the only one!! Must be our OLD souls!

She came alone and did not tell anyone of her family or friends to come support her because if she failed she did not want let them down, meaning she preferred to suffer alone and not let others suffer with her. Is there still such genuine kindness and thoughtfulness exist in the world ? I don't know what happened in her life to make her under-appreciate herself, but I want tell her you are a Big Success in singing and you are a Beautiful Soul the world is proud to have someone like you.

Passionately expressive . Alice comes alive through her music. Deeply captivating - I watched that twice , back to back. Unusual for me.

She should have got the Golden buzzer for that. They should have created a Platinum buzzer for her alone. She made me love the genre of music that I always hated, and that says something. She is so beautiful in her timidness and humility and she should be a mega-star right now. Her family must have been SO proud of her, I would LOVE to have seen their reactions on seeing this,

She didn't have fancy hair, or fancy clothes and minimal makeup. She came on with a long sleeve t-shirt, jeans, and slippers, but captivated the judges and the audience with her soulful voice. Less is more especially with this shy beautiful lady.

I love everything about this voice! How sweetly and naturally her voice relaxes into such a gorgeous vibrato on those sustained notes. I had to listen again.

she took me on a time travel back to the 1950s, that was the best voice I've heard in a long time...she is pure gold. And I must say, this was as good as Frank Sinatra's version

A natural beauty and talent all the way around! I wish i could sing like her! The days of singing like that, i thought were gone, but she proved to me, that real talent still exists from the olden days, and she was so raw and powerful!! She should have gotten the golden buzzard!

This song My Funny Valentine is a lot older than you may realise. "My Funny Valentine" is a show tune from the 1937 Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart coming of age musical Babes in Arms in which it was introduced by teenaged star Mitzi Green. And yes older than me too but done so very well By Alice here.

Dude, an octave is doubling or halving the frequency... how stunning she is, she wasn't close to 3 octaves. And if she was doing 5, the song would have been a f up.
