Navneetha Krishna Temple ( Channapatna)
"Ambegalu" (crawling) Krishna Temple.
This temple is also known as “Apremeya Swami Temple” or “Navaneetha Krishna Temple”. It is located in a place named “Mallur” on the Bangalore-Mysore highway, which is approximately 98KM from the Bangalore city.
The specialty of this place is a toddler Krishna crawling with a ball of butter in his hands, who is also called by name “Amebegalu Krishna”. It is believed that if couples wanting a baby visit this temple and workship Lord Krishna, they would be blessed with a baby soon. The road makes for a fabulous highway drive dotted with lots of small towns. One such key town which you cannot miss is Channapatna, which is dotted with shops selling variety of wooden handicraft you could buy at a reasonable cost.
Dodda Mallur village, on Bangalore-Mysore Highway at Chennapatna is famous for its Temples of SRI APRAMEYASWAMY and NAVANEETHA KRISHNA or AMBEGALU (crawling) KRISHNA. Chennapatna is a city of toys and known for its wooden toys that can be seen on the roadside shops. After passing through the main centre of Chennapatna, while going to Mysore from Bangalore on left side one can see the Temple Arch and right side on the road (opp:Arch) is SBI, Mallur Branch.
Main Deity here is VISHNU in the name of Ramaprameyaswamy, and his concert Lakshmi as Aravindavalli, both very beautiful idols. Lord Aprameya has sankha,chakra,gadha and padma in all the four hands and in abhaya hasta mudra. Other Deities in the shrine are Sri Vykunta Narayanaswamy and Sri Anjaneyaswamy, Ramanuja and oher alwars.
The MAIN & BIGGEST attraction is the sanctum dedicated to child/baby Krishna in the name of NAVANEETHA KRISHNA, in crawling posture,carrying a grab of butter in one hand. The idol,on a Garuda peetam is beautiful and mesmerising. Baby Krishna is quite attractive with captivating eyes and cute pose. Baby krishna can be seen without alankara / fully clad with butter / adorned with jewels,ornaments and flowers.
BELIEF : Childless couple visit this Krishna and when prays sincerely,they beget a baby soon. After this the couple visit the temple with the child, thank the Lord by hanging a silver/wooden cradle in the sanctum.
TIMINGS: Open from 7.30 am to 12.30 pm; 4.00 pm to 8.20 pm ( Sundays open upto 01.30 pm). LUNCH PRASADAM : is served at 12 noon on Saturdays and Sundays in the temple complex
Mobiles are to be swiched off and photography prohibited.
This temple was built in the 11th century. it is believed sage Vyasa did pratishta of crawling krishna

I am Happily married for 8 years now...However, we didn't have a child for 8 years. We have shown to many doctors and have taken many medicines but still we didn't have a child. We left our hope also and we didn't take any medicines from last 2 years. However, after watching this video, Me and my wife decided to visit this temple and we went in August 26, 2023. We prayed to Lord Krishana (Luddu Gopal) that please bless us also a child and literally started crying in front of Krishna. Later we promised that we will come back again if you bless us with a child and we will do Tula bhara seva as well... By the grace of Lord krishana my Wife became Pregnant in September 2023. Now she's 5 months pregnant. This all happened because of Ambegal krishna.. Thank you so much my Lord. We will again visit this temple along with our new born baby. Thanks a lot!!!

Hello Settu C, கோவை - மைசூரு இடையே, தினமும், 2 ரயில்கள் இயக்கப்படுகின்றன. ரயிலில் பயணம் செய்தால், கோவையில் இருந்து மைசூருக்கு செல்ல வேண்டிய நேரம், 10hr 25min.06316 KCVL MYS SPL கோயம்புத்தூர் மற்றும் மைசூர் இடையே இயக்கப்படும் மலிவான ரயில் ஆகும். மைசூருக்கு வந்து சேர 10hr 25min எடுக்கும். இந்த ரயில் கோவை சி.பி.இ., - 11:20:00 மணிக்கு புறப்பட்டு மைசூர் எம்.ஐ.எஸ்., -ஐ வந்தடையும். இந்த ரயிலின் டிக்கெட் விலை 210 INR ஆகும், அது திங்கள், செவ்வாய், செவ்வாய், வியாழன், வெள்ளி, ச, சூரியன் ஆகிய இடங்களில் இயங்குகிறது.
