Johnny Rivers should be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Johnny Rivers is actually still a wonderful and youthful performer. If you get a chance, definitely go to see him. One of the best shows I ever saw.

One of my favourite albums is "johnny Rivers Live at the Whisky A-go-go". An underrated rock artist of the finest calibre.

It's a damn good album, you're right.

When I first heard this on the radio, I felt like I really wanted to grow up so I could be part of a story like this. Awesome songwriting, arrangement, and performances.

Johnny Rivers had about 4 distinctive eras in his long great career.

The King of the remake and excellent at it. Just love his distinctive voice.

That shit was awesome!!! He can really play and the band was crakin’!!! Wow!!!

I never thought to look up to see what Johnny Rivers looked like. Thanks for posting.

My favorite by Johnny Rivers will always be "Slow Dancin" (Swayin To The Music) DJ Dale at the rollersksting I used to frequent as a teen, made sure that was always in the lineup for couples. Phenomenal Memories... Good Times! Happy Monday... thank you for sharing! 💖

I've heard Secret Agent Man in commercials. That song "Seventh Son" I've never heard of. I've heard of Seventh Son of a Seventh Son by Iron Maiden but that's about it.

Fantastic performer, but with an absolutely horrible personality. I didn't catch him on a bad day, either, as I've been told by people who worked with him as far back as the mid 60s that the way I found him when I met him is the way he's always been. Such a shame.
