This coverage sucks unfortunately, no idea who's leading, where anyone is in the field, etc, which means you lose virtually all the drama. CrossFit needs to steps up its game to become more of a spectacle because this was dry as anything.

And the same judge who no repped Fraser for a tonne of reps doing the same to Tia, when you watch the other athletes doing exact same and not getting no repped. The consistency of the judging really spoils the legitimacy of the sport.

There are some. No one is stopping anyone from competing, obviously. Someone commented that if the purse gets bigger it will attract more people. As it is, you have to subsidize your own travel and training and there`s a hefty registration fee to enter a game, so it`s a sport not one everyone can afford. It`s more a class than a race issue, I suspect. You have to be relatively well off to compete full-time (unless you're subsidized) so this can exclude working-class people of *all* races and backgrounds.

From the Internet: In Iceland, surnames are in two formats: Surnames for males end in "-son" (meaning 'son' in English) Surnames for females end in "-dóttir" ('daughter') Icelandic society has continued the centuries-old Scandinavian or Nordic practice of patronymics in masculine and feminine forms. A patronymic is a surname based on the father's forename. Similarly, a matronymic is one based on the mother's name. First generation Erik has a son and a daughter. His son is named Bjorn Eriksson. The daughter is Steina Eriksdóttir. Next generation Bjorn has two kids - the son is Olle Bjornsson and the daughter Anna Bjornsdóttir. Steina has a son out of wedlock - names him Gustaf Steinson (a matronymic).

Same judge who no rep Fraser for far too many reps is now doing the same to Tia. You can tell the judge is a spaz by her hyper spastic movements.

This coverage is absolute pish! Genuinely undermines the product so much. If you want to be take seriously as a sport up your production quality, this is a farce.
