Some guy said, "Doesn't the man (Zelensky) own a suit?" Zelensky is dressed just right for the part he is playing! He cares about his people and the military of his country. He's down on the ground with his army and his people. He's not playing a role, he's being who he is, the man is a hero. He's down on the ground, leading from the front, not hiding in some big boat, not hiding in some huge mansion. Love the man!

0:22 listening to some French news analysts talking about Zelinsky the other day it almost sounded like some Russian propaganda or kissing up to Russia the way they made it out to sound like Zelinsky is all about the camera angle and his inage and workibg the screen. A couple eventually chimed in, after like 10 minutes of this kissing up to the Russian slant that actually Zelensky shows true mettle and grit and stayed when his city was being bombed. That he is the voice of democracy and freedom and has earned his people's and the world's admiration and trust. But not without first sucking up to Russia, and saying Zelwnsky is a good tv man. About the embassy in Kyiv/Kiev reopening and being safe all of a sudden, how can you be so sure? Or is the American embassy's return a signal to Russia that "you mess with us or shoot down our embassy, you'll feel the fall-out"? Just wondering because they literally just took Mariupol, so it seems like Russian advances are working, and they are shellibg Odessa. So why all of a sudden is Kyiv/Kiev so safe? Also what is there to recapture, after Russia is through with it? They seem ghost towns of rubble and despair. Like Russia's lesson to Ukraine to not go trying to buddy up with the west. And that they can suddenly redefine what it is to be a war criminal/a nazi etc. They are the ones invading, bombing territory that is nit theirs. They are the clear aggressors. I'm really tired of hearing France talk about how to leave the door open for Russia to become European again. Russia takes advantage over any weakness. Also, reading Anne Frank for my daughter last night we got talking about how Germany was defested twice in both wars but didn't learn from the first world war. So when America says it wants to weaken Russia's ability to wage wars like this against their neighbors, it reminds me of WWI. And France shouldn't twist that to sound like America wants to weaken Russia and it's just some proxy wsr between the US and Russia. France is also a part of the war and they are filming their war analysts and debates and whatever. They take afvantage of freedom of speech and press etc. They should also try and stop playing bith sides. If I had been Zelensky I probably would have tried to flee or save my own skin. I think he has proven himself to be a true war hero among the likes of Churchill. And not justcto be some film star or man of the moment but to help motivate his country to defend itself and stand up for its own borders its own cities. I'm not sure I'd have been so gutsy under the same fire. But the way the French put it, you'd think it was some promo shoot. Meanwhile rigt wing extremists in America spread the Russian propaganda as well that the ones defending Mariupol were nazis. It's just nuts. It is a wsr in truth and our own observations. It is a gaslighting. Telling pregnant women who were bombed in their mstrrnity wards thatvthey had staged her own pregnancy or the photos or that they didn't know whether it was Ukraine bombing itself. I mean it is just nuts nuts nuts. We can believe our own eyes, too. And journalists do have a form of integrity we can trust as well. Right? Or should we all fsll for Russia's interpretation that Zelensky is some ouppet of the west? I think Zelensky teaches the west more about its values and its integrity than the other way around.

Actually, like so many things in Europe, you have to look back further in time, to understand them. The reason that France made Germany pay such a heavy price, for their losses in WWI, was Germany had made France pay an overly onerous price for the Napoleonic Wars. As to French television kissing up to Putin, when has France ever met a dictator they did not want to appease?

I gather it's not that Kyiv is so safe, it's more that it is no longer at risk of being taken over in the next few days. It is reported that the Russian troops which were near it have retreated and been shifted to reinforce the thinned numbers on the south-east front and facing partisans behind that front, so the Ukranian troops reached the northern and north-eastern border. Shelling is still a risk, but Kyiv is not a high priority - particularly as the Russians seem to have been reduced to their older, less-accurate missiles and the flight path for guided weapons aircraft is longer and more risky. Destroying Odessa and preventing Ukrainian grain shipments are high priority: famine may get other countries to drop sanctions in exchange for Russia letting the grain out.

I listen to French news on a daily basis. I have not heard anything supportive of Russia in the slightest. I wonder if you might have been listening to a far right propaganda outlet masquerading as a news source, like the American Fox propaganda network. I must admit though that I listen to their International news outlet as it is far more in depth than the BBC. I would not be surprised to hear that France had a far right equivalent to Fox. After all Marine Le Pen was, for the first time, the second choice for President of France last month. Very frightening.

Sell drugs, guns and use for child trafficking. OH! And we have sent millions of dollars for their bio-weapon labs to be set up. Russia invaded Ukraine to take out the labs and Nazis running the country. Because of our current administration, we aren't doing much better here. WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE FOR YOU TO WAKE THE HELL UP? We have 60% of our country right now that there is NO baby formula. Inflation is at 11%, gas is $5.00 + a gallon and continuing to rise, many grocery items have doubled, some states have NO diesel fuel, several food plants have been burned down, farmer's haven't been able to plant full crops, China has bought much of our farm land and it will not be used.
