    I worked his stage show a few weeks ago and was lucky enough to get four or five of those wings from the big version of that contraption. He gives a few to some helpers from the crowd and sends the rest back to the stagehands. Outstanding wings and an outstanding gentleman!

    My favorite thing is the replicability! Leaving out the accoutrements (the wheel of sauces and the sailor's wheel) everything except the heat guns would cost under $100 USD and everything would be easily available at a hardware store (plus you might be able to get the heat guns at a bulk discount since it uses 10, otherwise you could scale it down to use 4 or 6). With the guns it's not too affordable but it's achievable for many. My only concern would be the electricals with that many plugs, personally I'd distribute them between at least a couple outlets

  • @47f0

    @47f0

    @@simgem - Each heat gun would need its own household circuit, as most heat guns pull a little over 1500 watts, and putting 3000 watts on a 15 amp breaker is never a good idea. Other than the need to install a dedicated breaker box though, it would be a dandy residential air fryer.

It seems 110% like something Jamie and Adam would've built on Mythbusters: Jamie's simplicity and functionality with the overall concept, Adam's flair for the dramatic with the ship's wheel and his penchant for going over the top with 10 heat guns. The wing jettison system could've been a little more elegant, but what a glorious bit of kit.

    ALTON was the one who cheated! Stephen rolled the 747 sauce, and while he wasn’t looking, Alton changed it to the next (and hottest!) bottle. Funny thing, Stephen hardly reacted to the heat, and A.B. was steamin’! 🤣💥

    The Jett Fryer looks like fun. I don’t want one at home, though. It would take up my entire kitchen.
