For a guy called Blinken hardly blinks an eye. Very thoughtful, measures every word twice. Accesses a lot of information while talking. Appears to be truthful or disguises it very well. Factor in a little more emotion to get voted president. But I think he makes all the difference in the current position.

Btw, the literal ONLY person and country threatening nuclear war using nuclear weapons is Putin and his authoritarian fascist regime. Maybe he shouldn’t have illegally invaded a democratic sovereign nation. Ukraine is an independent state that wants to be part of the civilized democratic system such as the European Union. They don’t want anything to do with fascist dictatorships like Russia and its demagogue leader. Russia has made a massive miscalculation by illegally invading Ukraine and has strengthened and unified both NATO, Europe and the entire democratic world. The irony of course is that Russia easily could have strengthened their own relationship with Ukraine just by moving more towards a liberal and progressive society on their own. Ukraine has a close and old relationship with Russia and they could’ve continued and grown and strengthened that relationship if they just weren’t so belligerent towards Ukraine.

Really, you might want to check your history, every time the USA has had a "Weak" president in office, Russia has invaded someone, Did you notice that Putin didn't invade anything or anyone or even make a threat of that nature while Trump was in office 🤔 No, because even Putin's own staff told him that Trump was not a man they can play games with, they KNEW Trump would cause a nuclear way even IF THEY didn't, Hence them not being aggressive with Trump in office!

He was there when US started invading Syria and is currently occupying large part of Syria. He supported the attack on Libya and advocated the Iraq war. And to top it all he supported Saudi invasion of Yemen. His resume is one long list of breaking the "inviolability of borders". He has managed a covid pandemic, a supply line crisis, and a possible deep recession, combined with inflation pressures, in his first two years. All of these things were made worse by the trump presidency, and I would not have expected such an excellent response to everything with low key calm competence. Wow. Dude. Where you been the past 2 years? It's so good to see someone actually speak what is the truth. Your'e right: How President Biden has made it this far is remarkable. Other Presidents have had their problems, but not a former President yapping at their heels for months, millions misled and being lied to with subsequent abusive comments made at the Administration, a Speaker's husband beaten to with an inch of his life, as you say, Covid, a recession, inflation, then on top of it all being blamed for it all. Heck, people were quite prepared to blame President Biden for asteroids flying close to Earth! Something that is particularly depressing to me is the fact that BBB never really took off, despite the desperate need for an entire overhaul of North American infrastucture. Now, as the cherries on top, this Administration has to deal with Kim Ill Jung, Putin and Xi Jinping, in addition to the lies of Fox, especially from Tucker Carlson and his ilk. Yikes. Who wants to actually be President anymore if this is the kind of nonsense and drama facing one? We need to be one nation, not divided al la former President Trump.

On the other hand, Jared Kushner blackmailed Qatar using government strings to get a $4Billion investment in his failing real estate properties. There was really bad nepotism in the trump admin. Yet even though the US has never intended for Ukraine to join NATO, they still do not give a clear rejection. And in this video Blinken says “we don’t want the war to happen”? After the war started U.S. Military Industry sold all their inventory and made tons of money, meanwhile Russia’s developing speed was slowed down by the war, then US blew up Nord Stream, so that EU can only buy energy from them, then sold the energy for 4 times price to EU. 1. If you are referring to the second war in Iraq, instigated by President George W., Bush Jr. & UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, yes, it was illegal aggression that was justified with inaccurate claims & outright lies. However, the first war between Iraq and the USA, UK, other 'western' nations, and an 'Arab coalition' was quite justified, as it was in response to the unprovoked, illegal invasion & occupation of Kuwait by Iraq. 2. The second war between the USA/UK/a few other nations revealed some truths about the USA & the UK: (a) The world's democracies are not perfect, including the USA & those in the UK. There are highly-influential & powerful people & subsets of society in the USA & UK nations who are not elected politicians & leaders, yet who have a disproportionate amount of influence/control over what the elected governments does. These people/groups have their own agenda from which they profit in a number of ways, and often their agenda is not pointed in the same direction(s) as the domestic & foreign goals/policies of the government and/or the desires/will of the nations' citizens. (b) Not all politicians/political parties are created equal when it comes to respecting & following the democratic system within their own nation. Not all politicians & political parties are equally devoted to respecting & following the foundational values & goals of the UN, international laws/agreements/treaties, nor do they equally honour the fundamental sanctity of 'sovereignty' & self-determination as it applies to all nations, everywhere in the world. Not all politicians/political parties are equally affected by the influence of powerful individuals/subsets within their greater society. 3. Despite the fact that... (a) 'western' nations are very imperfect 'democracies', which has resulted in domestic & foreign policies that can be misaligned with the will of their citizens & also run counter to what is best for people at home & abroad, (b) the agendas of 'western' democracies can be influenced/controlled disproportionally by a relatively small number of influential & powerful individuals/groups within each nation , and (c) the Capitalist economic systems virtually all 'western' nations support can create sources of inequity & power, and also create actions that are counter to many moral/ethical/legal values & principles stated & demonstrated in many UN charters & agreements, Regardless, absolutely none of the serious imperfections, inconsistencies, and even hypocrisies seen from 'western' nations over the centuries can be used to justify/excuse the unprovoked immoral, unethical & illegal actions of Putin & Russia against Russia's own citizens & people in other nations., The failings of 'western' democracies do not justify/excuse the invasion & occupation of Ukraine, which began with overt aggression using military power in 2014 & has continued into 2023.
