Season Final: My Attempt at the 5km Track Record in Frankfurt
In 1986 Michael Handschieff of Austria set the 5.000m #trackrecord in Frankfurt/Main with a time of 7.09,97min - a stellar performance at the time! Handschieff went on to win two medals at the #OlympicGames in Calagary two years later.
After the record stood for 36 years I finally wanted to have a crack at it!
