Havent played since season 1 lol i only got the game for the zombies but they took forever for all the qol stuff there so cod hasnt been on my xbox in a while 😂 i also will probably never play it again theres just soo many other better games than this recycled garbage

Cold War was the last game that was good for me and it had 6 months of dev time... Cold War is special because it's a new era cod without tac sprint making it feel classic and new. It's a great mix. And I loved the zombies in that game even if it was way easier than other cod zombies.

There have been some really good indie games recently, and there are some coming soon that look like real gems. It is the fault of the customer when they keep laying their money down after multiple disappointments. They would be forced to either make better products or go bankrupt if people spoke with their wallets.

Used to play WZ every day. Started playing XD and haven’t wanted to touch the game since. I only get on bc my boys want me to and every time I switch over, I immediately regret it

I got into a "gunfight" a couple of days ago where I dumped half a mag on my end. I got killed so fast, and in the kill cam, it showed never me fire a shot.

They almost all had bad launches. Mw2 2009, Ghosts and the jetpack games were the only exceptions.

I haven't even had the slightest urge to play season 4 of this dumpster fire ass game

Booted up the game for 3m and closed it. Xdefiant is better

WZ is especially trash lately for a few reasons… 1. SBMM/EOMM is too strong. I’m an above average player getting thrown into lobbies with stacked up sweatballs because my team is decent. Miss when COD would let the lobbies be randomly thrown together with all different types of players. 2. The cycle of “drop a new meta -> let everyone abuse it -> nerf it -> introduce another overpowered gun -> repeat” is so repetitive. People want to use the guns they like. Why can’t we just have balanced weapons instead of one or two overpowered weapons that everyone has to use to win a gun fight? 3. Developers taking their sweet time to fix server/gameplay issues but responding with hot fixes in RECORD TIME as soon as there’s a problem with the COD store or a glitch that people are exploiting to unlock attachments.. I’m sure there’s more but these few things put me off from the game the most lately. And as someone who played it religiously over the last 6 months, I have switched over to X Defiant this past month and I’ve lowkey been having way more fun.

Play one match, halfway through game starts glitching, jumping all over the place. I haven't had this issue in the past month, as of today played this morning still doing the same. Cant play it.

For me its comes down to this sentence whats the point of me buying milsim style skins and Content if at the end of the day im shooting Elmo?

Once cod focused on prioritizing wz over multiplayer & zombies the player base that kept them in the green to compete with Fortnite. A game with its own identity, already. Thats where they fucked up. Once I heard that cod was making a mode to complete with Fortnite I knew it was going down hill after that, no content for multiplayer no content for zombies, just all content towards that bullshit store people spend their life savings on & wz. The franchise is shit from the people playing it to the devs making it.

Most, if not all of these problems are issues with management and higher ups, and let's not forget the issues sledgehammer had to face while making the game, no one even knew if the game was gonna be a dlc or full game while making it, they can't do anything about the seasonal aspect and the balancing is most likely something they have little Control over, they've been the only team to communicate with the community and actually listen for the better part of 10 years since bo2 and vonderhaar, gameplay wise it's the best we've had in the last 5 years, ultimately they were set up for failure and still managed to make the best of it

it shouldnt be a customers job to point out obvious issues that have been pointed out time and time again

I cant find games unless its with total hackers bruh. Ill wait sometimes an hour for 2 games. I really need the jak scimitar kit but hackers are guarding it.

I’d play with my friend and we’d really only play cutthroat (3v3v3)If we were partied together we would sit in the lobby forever. It would be like 20 minutes until a partial lobby was found. If we didn’t play together we were both able to find a match within a few minutes.

It just feels like filler content until BO6. It's crazy they take modes added away. Like who does that? 😂 None of this will matter come next release and then watch as the same cycle occurs, maybe even worse. 🤦

They def wait long ass times for shit and constant “meta shifts” need to chill out 😂

MW2 had the same issues. Ran just fine even in WZ for me s1-2, s3 started getting worse, s4 unplayable. I don't understand how they f up the game so much with minor updates.

I love the glazing. I can’t wait for it to be 6 months from now and XD is suffering from the same net code issues, and lackluster movement and gun response time. People forget we’re in the second month of XD. Not Week. Still in preseason. It’s Ubisoft we’re talking about, but ima sit back and let karma do its thing.

I didnt think the game was bad, not saying its a top 5 cod, but man the matchmaking messing with connection, the hackers, having the same meta just gets old dude. I just dont see a need to get back into it, the grind isnt worth it cause of yearly releases 😅.

I got shadowbanned for the first time. I’m a decent Xbox player, never cheated in my life. Haven’t even played the last 2 days because of warframe, I found out because I kept joining lobbies with the same cheaters.

I think the reason we haven't seen it since has been because it was originally planned as an LTM, and didn't expect THAT much of a positive response.

Reminds me of when battlefield 2042's first event had everyone hyped before we found out it was all locked behind a paywall. Then, after the feedback/backlash, we got free event items that fell in line with premium cosmetics the next seasons' events. As bad as 2042 was,at least they weren't as greedy as Activision. Just made piss poor choices because of EA

I deleted COD yesterday, playing Xdefiant

I started playing cod in 2003 on pc. I’ve played many hours on almost every single call of duty. But I burned out on season 4 of mw2 and haven’t played since. Warzone is the same over and over again. I loved playing DMZ but it also burned me out. It’s not fun anymore to me which sucks because I love cod

We just need to wait until sledgehammer is aloud to make AW2 and then we’ll be happy

The only time I played MWIII since the XDefiant launch was the Season 4 launch. I hoped on, got Interstellar on the new guns, then stopped playing because I was bored. While I agree that Sledghammer is trying more than any other dev team has in the last 5 years, it still isn't enough when EOMM is still in the game. I'm not a fan of an algorithm attempting to rig my matches. Oh yeah, also while I'm here, a true "Live service" would release content as soon as it's ready, not finish it, and hold it back for a few months for a scheduled release. Look at XDefiant for example. They are doing the standard seasons model, sure, bit on top of that, they are releasing certain content "as soon as its ready". TDM and SND, for example, are gamemodes that they planned to release in future seasons, but accelerated their development to a "as soon as its ready" status due to fan feedback. That's how live service games should operate. Releasing stuff as soon as its ready, not holding it back for big content drops every couple of months.

I only play mw3 for the nostalgia. The last cod I played was mw2 2009 when I was 17/18. I dont care about any of the new season shit they put out because they have done nothing to expand hardcore, which is all I play.

Learning what EOMM is ain't Difficult = simple search on YT. Short version = ever shoot but bullets sponging the enemy just to be melted by 1 or 2 bullets. Thats 1 form. Rubberbanning while doing good. Packet burst losses = all forms of eomm. Manipulation the gameplay.

I hopped back into mw3 when season 3 came out and honestly I got so sick of call of duty. Every game is a sweat fest with stupid costumes running around bunny hopping every corner. Haven’t played since. I’m actually starting to get into milsims lately.

Zombies was pretty fun at launch ngl. Buggy as hell, but fun. Literally DMZ but expanded and cooler. I cannot say the same for the season updates. They are the reason why I think this is even worse than vanguard zombies. Bo6 cannot get here soon enough.
