Seascape Photography at the Algarve - Changing Tides
In this video I take you behind the scenes of me photographing the spectacular coastline of the Algarve. The beaches we visit are Praia da Marinha, Prais dos Arrifes and Praia do Castelejo and I get some spectacular light.
I also talk about the importance of knowing the tides, share how I check the tides and talk about scouting.

The Algarve is full of amazing beaches, and rocks for photography, for me Lagos was the best. Beautiful photos and video Michael, as always. 👌👌👌

Happy new year Michael! The beach with the black rocks, I think it was the third beach you were at, looks beautiful! A great contrast to the golden sand. What are some of the trips you have planned for 2022? Mike and I are planning out the year but with some of the travel restrictions still in place it's a bit of a doozy 🥴😂Cheers, Chris

Thanks Chris. I will hopefully fly to Costa Rica in two days. Fingers crossed. Currently the country is open. Restrictions apply only for unvaccinated people. But I dont plan further yet. We will stay 10 weeks ;-) but we also have Asia on our Wischlist. We keep a close eye on the situation there. Many other countries are currently too risky to even dream about ;-)

Not much getting down there, it's a publicly accessible beach with a parking lot. In summer there's even a little restaurant ;-)
