We will be hunting down Penske South, Alan Kulwicki Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing, and Robert Yates Racing shops. I might throw in a few more surprise shops on the way. Buckle up my friends! Who was your favorite Winston Cup driver?
In the late 90's we went to the Coca Cola 600- We stuck around Mooresville for a few days after the race- We walked into Rusty Wallace's shop on Tuesday and were just kind of hanging out around the 2 car in the lobby- Then Rusty came out from the back and asked if we were there to see someone and my mom exclaimed "Yes! You!" He couldn't have been more confused. Obviously we had no reason to meet him other than being a fan in town. He was nice-ish but obviously slightly annoyed. He took a moment to be nice and went on with his day. The funniest part is that it seemed to him otherworldly that a fan would be there on a Tuesday, meanwhile during that era of Nascar, on Friday's and Saturdays thousands of fans would be visiting the shops. Great memory.

That is funny. A famous driver like Rusty asking, “If you are there to see someone”?😂 Thanks for sharing your story. Have a great day and thanks for watching.👍
Spent a lot of time there..my buddy used to work there so when I would stop by and visit I’d stop and see the boys..only place I could never get in was the engine department….saw Don Miller, Rusty, Roger and the old 1993 pit crew…Great times back then….

Hey Chris! That sounds correct. Stocks for Tots! I could not remember the name. I was probably 13 years old at the time of the event. Dang, that makes me feel old.😂 Thanks for watching friend. Have a good day.👍
