I STILL do not buy all the hype. He arguably lost that decision to Yan. The Aljo stoppage was arguably early. Big whoop he pieced up Chito. No surprise there. Merab will hug and man hump him to an easy W. Topuria same, could even pretty easily out box Suga. Sandhagen is probably the most interesting fight but even Cory is more well rounded than Sean.

I like O'Malley as a champ but I also want that Merab fight. Merab deserves it although he is boring. I'm just tired of EVERYONE getting the belt and avoiding their division. AS SOON AS Pantoja won the belt he calls out O'Malley, O'Malley wants to fighr Topuria, Topuria has called out McGregor at 170/Islam/O'Malley pretty much everyone except those in his division, then you've got Islam that's called out Leon, and Leon called out Strickland and DDP. Only people that haven't done it is Periera and Aspinall.

If Vera would have landed that body blow 1 minute earlier in Round 5, O'Malley would have lost. O'Malley flat-out COLLAPSED from that body shot just as the round ended.. Suga dominated, but, Vera almost snuck away with a late victory. O'Malley (and his fans) want to ignore he was literally saved by the bell, but he was. It reminds me of the Jon Jones/ Chael Sonnen fight, where Jones dominated but badly broke his toe at the end and would have had a major problem if the fight didn't stop then. Kudos to O'Malley, but he is damn lucky the round ended when it did.

@JasonCoville-dy7dg it's true. Sean's soul left his body, he needed time to recover before score card was read. If that body shot happened even 20 seconds earlier, Chito would have gotten his hand raised.
