Agreed. The law isn’t very forgiving when it comes to repeat offenders, but how much of a chance do people have at an honest life when they come out? Glad to see someone giving them an opportunity to get their lives on track, and I wish we had something like this where I live. Think I could force myself to eat pizza several times a week even if it weren’t helping people to find an honest job.

The vibe of this episode is absolute perfection. Pizza wars has really found it's stride. And Nicole's ability to balance being a friendly host, but still be a serious competitor is underrated.

Mike Carter made his pizza hit just like he said he likes to layer flavors. That's impressive. When Sean Evans described Carter's pizza it was exactly how Mike describe how he spices food. Exactly how Mike said he layers flavors. That is an artist.

They’re both so nice to each other. 😂

Nicole is amazing. Every episode is so good. I love how she connects with the guests, great episode!

She's a great host and I enjoy the show, but once you realize the irony that she's the host of a show titled "Pizza Wars" and pronounces the word "piece-uh" you'll never not notice it 7:20 hahah

Great video. I’m from Scotland and never saw a Detroit style pizza before so it’s unique to me. He seems like a nice guy too. Hope his business succeeds

They both made BEAUTIFUL pizzas. Like there's no arguing which one is better but to ultimately admit that those two pizzas are worth every cent. That's amazing. I wish I could have both of them.

I discovered a few new favorite hot sauces thanks to Hot Ones. Pico Rico and Los Calientes Barbacoa are the best of the lineup for Season 19.

Oh wow the woman behind last dragon pizza is the host of this!?!? I remember having her pizza for the first time over 5 years ago in far rockaway. They alwere amazing then and so great to see her doing this

This was a good one. I love his drive and message to those who need hope after incarceration. The vibe was top tier. We love Sean!

The dopamine rush of having both these shows for the next month or so is surely going to lead to a depressing winter for me, but who cares!

i LOVE that you are your own cooking show in this episode, this is fun! i wonder the next episode of hot ones will have in store!

The chicken pieces on the Nashville Hot Chicken one looks soo good with that sauce.

Come on man, every friggin time I watch these pizzas look crazy good. Can we get a first we feast 🔥frozen pizzas? Gettem in Walmart or target. I need it!

Pizza and curry sauce is a magic combo. I used to eat my Thai panang or green curry leftovers with my pizza leftovers and stumbles upon heaven. I've never seen anyone else do it!

Both pizzas look absolutely heavenly and I'm jealous that I'll never get to try them, partly because I can no longer eat spicy food and also where I live.

Oh my God, so glad you invited Down North!!!! The work they do is so amazing!

This is the way all cooking competitions should go down. Great job.

What Down North is doing I think is amazing. Only way to truly rehab someone is giving them a 2nd chance after time served.

Agreed. A lot of people getting out of jail have a really hard time beginning again and avoiding another sentence. These guys are awesome.

@@mehmeherson3103 Clearly you've never delt with the Criminal Justice System & how broken things are for those with a Record. Ive been on the side of Correctional Officer as well as employer...cause did you know KFC, Taco Bell, McDonald's & Subway have NO Felony Policies?!

Mike Carter seems like the nicest most down to earth person in the history of the world. What a cool guy. I want to catch a plane to Philadelphia just to have some of this man's pizza.

No matter how you slice it--this was entertaining stuff.

The respect, compliments, and building each other up are such a nice change of pace from most competitive shows. This was so great to watch.

That down north dough looks AMAZING! I could see a sweet pizza on that dough too! 🤤

Loved the episode and had to check out the menu at Down North. That Break You Off sounds right up my alley. Would have to try the Yeah That's Us too. Those milkshakes and lemonades look delicious, but the one thing that stood out on the menu was the Vegan section and those Evertything Fries. Road Trip!

I'm Hmong (southeast Asian) and I love spicy food! Papaya salad with ten peppers, spicy curries, variety of spicy jeows to eat my rice with, home-smoked crushed pepper flakes AND Sriracha on pizza - I will eat anything spicy! Great episode! Both pizzas are winners to me ❤️

I saw a story on Down North, such a great business and it’s fantastic the opportunity you offer. All the pizzas at Down North look amazing. The pizzas in this show both had me salivating. I wanted to eat both of them!!

Love what Down North is doing by giving formerly incarcerated people a second chance. ❤️ If I ever get around to visiting Philly again, I'm gonna make it a priority to stop by and support them.

For Nichole to give up that award, it couldn't have been to better challenger, for a company in Detroit to employ only convicted people is the best way to give back to a community and provide them with a 2nd chance, yall will forever have my thanks!

Just moved to the Philly area recently. Definitely gonna check out his place. Love what he’s doing!

I really like this show, but man do I wish you guys would do more of a break down on the things like the sauces and pizza dough. It seems kinda cheap to just have those already made and not have any consideration on them other than their presence. Don't get me wrong, the pizzas themselves look amazing and give me some good ideas, but I just wish there was more emphasis on the actual cooking rather than the spectacle.

One of the best episodes from a great series!
