The goal for this simulation is to weld fatigue life. As such we use the Ncode treatment of the HAZ area.
Is this working also for solids?

Solid welds setup is different. However Ansys Ncode does support both shell and solid seam welds.
What about welding process? like current, speed, heat generated

Detailed welding process is a different type of simulation and only suitable for very small regions. We have a wide range of methodologies for different situations.
What version u used? 2022?
