I just finished up and got my Hangar 9 p-47 with a Saito 4 stroke (FG-21) in the air last week. P-47 is an amazing flying plane. Smooth as can be. That 4 stroke engine makes the best sound for a plane like The Jug! You wont be disappointed

The manual CG is dead on!! I can get away with hot landing because of the grass and knowing my field..it rises in elevation from left to right by 18ft

Looks great, looking at building one myself and also going electric. Would you mind sharing what you used for servos? Do you happen to have a build video?

It had just standard futaba 3004 servos in it. It doesn't require high torque servos.I typically don't do build videos,(I personally dont enjoy doing them lol)and I didn't do one for this model when I had this plane.

Great video and terrific flying plane. Been flying for years now and I've never had a P47 Thunderbolt. Watching this footage is tempting me to buy this plane. I already have a Seagull Spacewalker which I love with a Saito fourstroke on it. Has your P47 got a fairly slow stall speed or does it have to be flown fast all the time? Thanks.

My wife and I are 6/6/66 grads of UNC Chapel Hill. Loved it all! Flew Navy out of NAS Whidbey Island … two Yankees who stayed West.

Do y'all still fly it bc I'm looking at the P47 and the Corsair. Thinking of putting 100cc radial so might end up 120cc. Any thoughts and remember i just dont like electric.

I dont own it anymore, I dont like my warbirds electric they need the engine noise! lol it flys very well super stable over the corsair and more forgiving on landing! The P-47 is known to be the best flying and well mannered warbird around!

What motor and esc you are using on this plane? Thanks

Power 60 eflite motor and 100am esc good to 6s.

What was the kv on the motor Bobby?

Yeah I kinda do too but then weight goes up and it's rated as a 15cc model so 🤷
