Ойын-сауық

In this video I disassembled a Seadoo Spark/ BRP Canam Ace 900 engine. A step-by-step tutorial on how ton how to repair the crank shaft output sleeve correctly. The crankshaft must get put on a lathe at a machinist and threads cut to accept the modern output shaft adapter. 1000% thank you. I have to replace a cylinder head in mine. I waited a year to do it (mostly because I wasn't sure how) I got to the the top of the cylinders yesterday and wasn't sure what the next step was. I can't thank you enough for posting :)

They make a tool to stop the crank shaft from turning to get the output shaft off.

Hey man, I've just swapped the engine in my sea doo spark with a new one, got it in and fired up however it is still showing an engine code. Idles fine on the stand with water hooked up. Any ideas?

If you should change the crank. Do you have to take of the TOP of the engine!? Could you just loosen the cain. And take of the chain lock at the crank?

I believe you could remove the bottom section of the engine, but your so deep into it, why not refresh the engine entirely

@@h2omechanic Thank you. But. Mine has no problems now. It only has 80hours. So just a crank change from the bottom is a "easy" job. Compare to take to. Top off. I think its strong engine. One guy I talked to has run his for 900 hour without any problems. Just regular maintenence.

Out of curiosity did you attempt to turn the crank in that condition? Wondering if those valve guides woulda kept you from it?

No, it sat for too long, I assumed the valves could be stuck & didn't want to ruin the head if it were.
