    Pressure treated and aluminum do not mix. It will eat holes thru the metal. Regular plywood and enamel is best.

    This is awesome. I own a 97 sea nympth and i couldn't find crap about replacing the transom. Thank you so much for posting this. Have a blessed day my man.

    Aaah another great risk-taking guy like myself who uses power saws in flip flops! HAH Nice job on the transom. You could probably put some white-tinted gel coat as well and it would outlast us and the boat.

    No idea if ill do anything. Oil based paint was suggested already.
