You ran it dry? Meaning you disconnected the fuel line then let the gas run out? I've done that and now I'm having issues. It'll start initially but after running a bit then turning it off it won't start back up. The spark plugs get so dirty (oily) real quick.

There's a step on the shaft. You measured it in the wrong area. When measured in the area where the impeller sits it measured .453" which is a closer match what most amazon sellers list at 11.65mm = .458" if anyone is wondering it's part # 47-89981

All right my 2006 F-350 6.0 diesel bulletproof... It's sat almost no use for more than 6 months to a year maybe only used it once in a year.. head caliper changes. Anyhow, hook the batteries back up turn the kid cranked right off. The brakes felt like there was a brake leak somewhere. Slowly went to the floor. No leaks indicated anywhere. Places during a major rain storm in Florida.. sorry I didn't do much troubleshooting. Except looking for fluid leaks anywhere. I did open the reservoir. Maxed out to the cap.. and it was service between minimum and Max before this issue popped up and fell out of the sky. So with the reservoir full to the cap.. makes me think it's a master cylinder letting fluid in but not out. So tomorrow morning I'll have to check and see if I got but you had checked the ABS system. Before I R&R the master. Thanks for the video. Keep up the good work keep that truck running. Sorry for the typos.. glass maintenance this truck saw less than 50 miles ago was caliper changes to the front and the year earlier to the backs due to caliper brake lock up. So it's a real head scratcher. I will check the ABS system tomorrow. PS this thing isn't let me edit the type of self good luck deciphering my smartphone reproduction of words..😭🙀🤓😎 Hope it goes well.

Well, I finally got the wheel bearing replaced! Took longer than I had hoped but that’s because I couldn’t find my angle grinder. It is impossible to remove without cutting off a lug bolt. Also a good bit of advice is to make sure that you are using grade 8 or 10 half inch bolt that is 3”. I cracked off all the spare bolts I had laying around and gave up until I could get a ride to the store 😂 Also ended up having to replace the upper lateral link and ball joint as well, it popped and just poured out rust and then just gave up and completely separated, at least I had the tire off. Pretty sure this is a flood car, found lots of grass tucked up there when I was removing the bolt that holds the bushing. This is the most work I’ve don’t on a car, normally just do brakes and oil changes. I’m gonna need to do the front control arm bushings next, pretty significant clunk coming from there. Thanks again, and I’ll be watching your other videos on this car. Ohio winters are not nice to cars, gotta love the rust belt eh?

You were absolutely right! I was a hair’s breadth from throwing this out after changing the plug that came with the carb kit. Your explanation made perfect sense since the plug I was using )non-resistor) got to hot to touch when it quit after a minute of running. I put the plug in you spec’s and it’s perfect! I can’t thank you enough. I never would have thought to question the plug type.

I have spent 3 days fighting the dang wheels on a friends 2013 Taurus limited. I have been dreading replacing a rear wheel bearing knowing that I'll most likely not be able to get it off. I was heading to the store to buy a slide hammer, but after seeing this, I'm just going for a couple bolts. 100% not a mechanic but after changing the shocks on my '13 RAV4 last year, I have been doing brake and oil changes for friends who otherwise wouldn't because of the cost. When I said I was fighting the wheels, I meant it, the wheels were fused with the rotor, the rotor with the hub, there wasn't a sliver of metal on 2 of the brake pads, the caliper pins were 100% fused with the caliper and there wasn't even a bushing on one of the caliper brackets. After getting that all squared away replacing a rear wheel bearing and figuring out what is clunking in the suspension on the drivers side wheel. Thank you for saving my money I don't have in order to keep a single mom and her kiddos safe on the road! ill update ya with the results

I have an older version of this same Cub Cadet. This is the third Cub Cadet that I have owned in my life and probably the last. The first Cub was a hydrostatic drive tractor with a 3 blade mower deck, I ran the wheels off that thing and loved it. The second was a 52 inch zero turn model with the 2 tillers for steering, loved it. Unfortunately, my next Cub Cadet was and older version of the thats shown in the video. I have had 2 MAJOR problems with the third Cub Cadet. The first problem started half way thru the first year. The left deck spindle started getting noisy right away and continued to be a major problem, the bearing are considerably under designed and since there is no way to grease the bearings Cub Cadet continuously replaced the bearing at their costs until the warranty ended. Since I am a retired mechanical engineer of 40 years I purchased 10 new bearing of the same size but I removed one seal on each of the 2 bearings and drilled and tapped a threaded hole for a grease fitting on both spindles. I also had to drill a clearance hole for a grease gun in the plastic guard so I could grease all 4 bearing after EVERY TIME I mowed. For the price of 2 grease fittings I extended the life of the left spindle bearings from 6 months to about 2 years. Bear in mind the model that I purchased was discontinued about 6 months after I purchased this junk. Now for the next problem. This mower has what they call 4 wheel steering but ALL 4 wheels are fixed rigidly to the frame. Now I don’t know how they expected all 4 tires to stay in contact with the ground unless they thought everyone’s yard is like a green at a golf coarse. But the real problem is the garbage they designed to retard the back wheels when you turn. I have NEVER, EVER SEEN SUCH A STUPID DESIGN IN MY LIFE. If they would have let the front wheels caster freely they would not have had to use all that junk. Two people should have been fired for that stupidity, the person that designed it and the person who approved the design.
