Sea life of Gem Island, Malaysia

Great place for marine life. Thanks to the great effort of coral replanting programme and restrictions to sea activities, the sea life here continue to strive. Some of the video shots were easy and some shots takes more effort.
Coral Garden
- The corals here a very much protected and it has been striving to grow unlike other Islands.
Clown Fish
- Plenty... you can see them everywhere. There are rare clown fish too like the black and white band clown fish and pink clown fish.
Moray Eels
- Lots of them too... each of them has its own colour pattern. Most of them are quite shy.
Cuttle Fish
- These fascinating creatures are seasonal, during the mating season you can plenty of them. But I was quite lucky to video shoot one during off season.
Giant Puffer
- They look clumsy but they can swim very fast don't underestimate them.
Small Puffer
- I was looking for octopus at night and saw this little fellow sleeping.
Octopus
- Found this shy guy hiding in the hole, I had to lure it out with a crab.
Blue Spotted Stingray
- I see them a lot during the day, mostly hiding under some rocks or corals.
