I hope you enjoyed! Sea dragon is one of my most requested video topics, now that it's done is there any other ship from history (real or concept-only) you'd like to see? One point I didn't mention in the video is the lack of second-stage bell expansion for my Sea Dragon. The real rocket would have had an expanding nozzle on the second stage, which unfortunately is not possible to create in KSP. There are of course some artistic liberties here and there, but that's the great thing about recreating "alternate history" - there's no real physical counterpart to be compared to ;) Also, first.

@@Checkedbox Sounds like you've got the right mindset! I studied Aviation Technology at Uni, but I've always had a great interest in computing and programming. In truth, whilst software development skills are important, more generalised specialities like physics, engineering, or computer science matter more. Any of these can land you a solid graduate programme offer, though competition is pretty high at present given the present situation internationally. It's important to make yourself as useful as possible to the industry you're going into. It is good to develop an array of skills like communication, networking, presenting, and learning good documentation practices. This is the most boring part, but it is essential to the wider business and thus the success of any big project. I landed on the Space sector by the will of the wise folk at my firm's recruitment team. They figured that being a computer and aviation nerd, I'd love to develop in SatCom. They were, of course, spot on. Sell your qualities as a package, not just your education, but your whole personality and breadth of knowledge and experience. And last but not least, when job hunting - persevere! (and watch out for the dodgy indentured labour, 'training in arrears' type places). P.s. Space is cool. If you've got the right passion, it'll take you *almost* anywhere.

Matt: Your engine solution is actually pretty spot-on as the study pointed out a single chamber engine the size needed for the first stage was likely to have as serious of development problems as the early F1's did and it was proposed to solve these by using multiple combustion chambers feeding into a single nozzle instead of one big one.

Speaking of Solar orbit stations... when I first started playing this game I crashed on the Mun and decided to do a rescue mission. The rescue mission, of course ran out of fuel attempting to enter orbit around the Mun and the resulting gravity slingshot put the rescue craft into orbit around Kerbin's star forever. RIP whoever was on either of those missions xD
