number 15, soviet spiral launch system. the last thing you'd want in low earth orbit is the MiG-105, but as it turns out that might be what you get. KSP user matt lowne uploaded a video to youtube showcasing the construction of an MiG-105 in KSP with the title 'KSP: The Hypersonic Soviet SPIRAL Launch System!' admittedly, it wasn't clickbait - but that's even worse. the post went live on the 7th of november 2020 and moments later matt's viewers were alerted to the new vide-

Matt my goodness bro you rock! Your truly the best man your videos are amazingly consistent and this is the earliest I’ve seen a video since it’s been posted. You basically taught me how to play this game thank you soo much man. I love seeing these videos every time then hopping on my game and trying to pull it off in my campaign. I get cheeky once I’ve unlocked the first Guidance Units and adjust their spot to inside the lander cans. That way all my ships can avoid any worry of a Kerbal blacking out or having to have a pilot. I take trips with my scientist then engineers when I got guidance systems inside the ships.

Guys if you don’t know what delta V is (as I didn’t before taking physics and figuring it out myself) Delta in science means “change in” you usually figure this out by taking two measurements, one at the start and one at the end and taking the first away from the last. V means “velocity” in meters per second (how fast it goes) Delta V means “Change in velocity”, or how much ability the spacecraft has to change its velocity. So if we were going 1000m/s in a direction, and wanted to turn around, and our craft had 1000 Delta V, we could get ourselves to a standstill, but we wouldn’t be able to accelerate in the opposite direction because we’ve run out of fuel. It’s a measure of how much change in velocity the rocket has left.

You can use the Stage Recovery mod to recover an air launch vehicle, if you exploit the powered landing mechanics a bit. Just make sure it has a rocket or SABRE engine on it, and a fuel tank with about 200 dv of LFO in it, and lock the fuel tank so the fuel isn't used in the flight. The mod will recognize the 200dv and recover the launch plane.
