What a bunch of incredible finds! And there is a part 2 still to go!?! We have been doubly blessed on this one! I can't wait to watch the 2nd part now! That strange purple chunk of whatever it was, is so strange! It seemed out of place, out there and nothing like it around there at all! I'm glad you took it and maybe a little further dive into what it may be, can yield some answers for us curious folk! Ok, off to watch part 2 now! Thanks Nate!❤

It amazes me at how much the obsidian looks like the slag glass I find in Upper Michigan. Obsidian is beautiful and the arrowheads you find are awesome. You are blessed in your area for Native American artifacts and beautiful agates. Thanks for sharing😊

and I here dreaming of Arkansas....the crystals, the folk I encountered.... the ridge after ridge with lakes and streams between each... the humble honesty in those small communities, I could linger there a long time....

hit every ditch and culvert in the area! hunting arrowheads is a favorite of mine, these were once natural creeks but all is farmland now, vineyards actually, no food unfortunately , so they are ditches now , but same results they cross the land sort the gravels and collect the treasures so we are gonna check any we can get to ! quest on !

40+ years growing up and living in same little valley so im crawling around in ditches I used to hunt polliwogs in, north Bay Area so it was always a heavy inhabited zone and now all is houses and grapes so these are the literal cross sections of what's under it all, going to do some vineyard walking after autumn tilling and rain, let them stir it and then a rinse and should be easy hunting. hope you guys are staying cool out there ! thanks for watching my video ! happy hounding !

Love your work brother. Hope you had an awesome independence day. 🇺🇲 I am finally starting a KZread channel. Right now I'm just clipping shorts to get started. Moving from Texas of 20 years back to Utah to care for my mother. Once I get home I'll have a studio set up and I'll start promoting your channel with other rockhounds and adventurers. Keep up the great work man I love what you do. 👍

So many nice pieces. I've never found an arrowhead, but while growing up in the foothills of Mt. Diablo, my parents were landscaping the front yard, installing a sprinkler system. About 3 feet under ground my mom spotted a super awesome 3" long obsidian arrowhead. Spotless. The Clayton museum was super interested in it, however my mom wasn't letting it go. Obsidian wasn't too abundant in Clayton that I ever saw. Great video, some of those were super special!! Love going on quests with you! Where to next?? Can't wait to find out. Dream

that area has changes so much.. I was at diablo a few years ago went up the Walnut Creek way... was stunned at what its become....I do remember grassy fields and oak trees here and there where now its thick nieghborhoods, though I was lost....but the mountain is pure magic, so many secrets,.... where you are now look for basalt being used the same way. always sort out the local rock that breaks sharp and search for tools of that or like material. they are there. ❤

Hi Nate, which body of water is this that you are walking by with all the obsidian? A specific creek in napa valley or the napa river?
