"Does Size Matter? A Prospective Study on the Feasibility of Using a Handheld Ultrasound Device in Place of a Cart-Based System in the Evaluation of Trauma Patients". Student doctor Tarango attended Florida State University for undergrad and majored in biological sciences with minors in chemistry and statistics that included obtaining a SAS Programming and Data Analysis Certification. He used that certification as an undergraduate qualitative analysist in the ACTS 2 Project for the FSU College of Medicine. He has worked as an ER tech, and as a CMA in oncology and pediatrics. His volunteer work includes being a boxing instructor for disadvantaged youth. At KCU, he is an executive member for the EM club, Medical Spanish Club, LMSAA, and an AMA delegate. In his free time he still boxes, and enjoys exploring the city with his two golden retrievers. He is interested in pursuing a career in emergency medicine at a county program.
