The allies released the secret proximity timed artillery ammunition that exploded in air rather than on the ground. Fragmentation was downward. Crews unprotected. The execution of an artillery unit at Malmedy followed. Then the closed M-113 and BMP vehicles began design.
Coolest equipment is why they are talked about
Very cool 💯
AFTER ALL THESE YEARS THE GERMAN ARMY IS THE MOST TALKED ABOUT!

There's no doubt that the nazi's produced the most sophisticated range of weapons & equipment in WW2.

Armies in the war are usually the ones talked about.
Good video! Straight to the point!
Nice Video.
I always liked the Sd.Kfz 250 variants but I was shocked to see the original one seeing how small and cramped it is in reality. In my opinion it should have far more logical to produce only the Sd.Kfz 251 instead of frittered much needed resources....

German military Panzers are all outstanding machines, Ahead of its time! 🤔
Light tanks are way more efficient, faster and safer for the scout role, like the M3 Stuart. Lightly armed, with no turret protection and slow Sdkfz 250 was more of a liability. For 75% body protection engaged in combat just too much of a cost.

Tanks don't care Infantry. Also they are not faster. Go fish!

@@larrybedouin2921 M3 had a stronger engine with the higher power/weight ratio. He was faster than 250. Not an infantry carrier IFV true, but more safer for the scouting unpredictable situations, unlike open top vehicles.

@@serdradion4010 The Sd.Kfz. 250 had a top speed of 76 km/h (47 mph) the M3 had a top speed of 58 km/h (36 mph). Which was faster than the Sd.Kfz. 251, but not the smaller 250.

In Commonwealth armies, the turrets of M3A1 and M5 Stuart light tanks were removed. .50 cal. HMGs, taken from Lend Lease M5 halftracks were fitted. The result was the Stuart "jalopy" Eliminating the weight of the turret, 37mm gun and its ammunition reduced ground pressure noticeably. This allowed the "jalopies" to go where tanks feared to tread and at increased speed. (Another recipient of surplus .50 cal. HMGs in NW Europe was the Universal Carrier. To steal a phrase . . . "Say hello to my little friend!")

@@michaelmanning5379 Still better mg than MG42 7,62mm . Shorter, more manouverable turret protected observer, maybe even thicker armour, engine in the back safe from enemy fire enabling fast retreat.
I love this channel . I watch AND like everything. How about some new music
