Student Doctor Stephanie Cox "Early vs Interval Postpartum Intrauterine Device Placement". Student Doctor Cox is a third-year medical student at Kansas City University originally from Northern Virginia. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia in 2016 where she studied biology and dance. Prior to medical school, she worked as a dance instructor and choreographer for 7 years and a dermatology assistant in Charlottesville, Virginia. SD Cox currently serves as the ACOFP Student Education Committee Chair and volunteers with WeeCycle, a nonprofit helping to support families with infants and toddlers in Denver, Co. SD Cox is passionate about reproductive health care, women's health, and preventative medicine. In her free time, you can find SD Cox taking a dance class, hiking, or running half marathons with her husband.
