Student Doctor Paul Abdo- “Significant Improvement of Essential Tremor with DBS after Failed HIFU”. Student Doctor Paul Abdo is a second year student at KCU-KC. Originally from Diamond Bar, California, SD Paul graduated from the University of California, Riverside in 2021 with a bachelor degree in Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology. In his gap year, he worked as a scribe in family and internal medicine while volunteering at an organic chemistry research lab and working at the Western Journal of Emergency Medicine. In the winters, Paul volunteered as a ski patroller in the local mountains in Southern California. During his time at KCU, he has gained interest in the fields of internal medicine and neurology, specifically in stroke, movement disorders, and neurocritical care. On his free time, Paul enjoys going to the gym, playing soccer, and skiing.
